Bulut DONT HUMILIATE OUR PLAYERS

Sat Oct 21, 2023 5:25 pm

Robinson and Colwill should start and Bulut your wrong

Not Won for 4 games / 3 defeats

Let’s see how we do without them.

Don’t blast and humiliate players publicly

Already 16pts off the top after 12 games.

Colwill was awful when he came on. Robbo looked sharp and needs more game time in my opinion.

That aside, our defence got carved open about 4 times, inclduing the goal which you can argue was great play or soft defending.

Poor away day. Changes need to be made.

Tanner made some happen off the bench.

Colwill killed some decent positions and was unusually sloppy on the ball - he isn't the answer in my opinion. Needs a successful loan, i'd do it immediately it possible.

Totally disagree.

Colwill was beyond awful when he came on.

Robinson was alright, but nothing special. He actually missed a good chance.

Ned,

After 12 games I am starting to be disappointed.

You should never name and Shane players publicly.

Disagree sorry.

As said above Colwill was terrible.

And whilst it was only a half hour or so appearance, Robinson appears to be starting to take on board whatever Bulut has told him and he was actually making an effort to close players down so what Bulut is doing might be working in his case.

He’ll have to go

Today we should have had a goal in the first half, completely different game then.

People went for Bulut when he criticised Tanner in public but just look how Tanner responded.

Colwill was dreadful.

I have always said we should target top half by January when we can strengthen the squad. Can't expect to have a top six team straight away when we haven't been able to spend money.

Deserved something from the game today so I'm not worried.

Remember everyone was saying we'd be in big trouble after Ipswich but we bounced back.

I like Bulut but don't hammer players that haven't even started a league game yet and haven't been given a fair chance.

The only player he should be hammering after that is Ugbo. Last 2 games he's been an empty Jersey.

Robinson needs to start. Colwill isn’t good enough, needs to leave for the sake of his career.

Colwill does alright for wales and the under 21s he was no worse than any other player today.

Shaming him was wrong by the manager Colwill if giving the chance is a good attacking player who can score, at the moment we failed to beat a poor watford team lost today we need to start Colwill give him a proper go as I am not 100% happy him not being picked with UGbo who is a waste of time at the moment

Are you mad? He was only on for 20 minutes and in that time manages to both pass it out of play and also get in other players’ way and stop the attack, not once, not twice, but multiple times. He was appalling.

Colwill didn't play that bad. If you watch his movement he's one of the only who moves the ball and makes a run to receive it back.
Didn't shine by any means but still wasn't "terrible"

Re: Bulut DONT HUMILIATE OUR PLAYERS

Sat Oct 21, 2023 7:50 pm

I think Colwills issue was nobody including him had any idea where he was supposed to play, it went from totally defensive to all attackers getting in each other's way

Talk about a glass half empty Annis. Forget about 16 points of the top, we're 2 points off the play-offs for goodness sake. And that with a plethora of injuries to players in pivotal positions.

Re: Bulut DONT HUMILIATE OUR PLAYERS

3 points off the playoff places, hardly say we are doing bad considering we didn’t have any spending power in the window just gone.

Colwill gave a typical substitute performance, didn’t really do a lot to scream he should start, Robinson did as well as Tanner again. He wasn’t bad, just didn’t look sharp like others did

We are desperate for a cf and Ramsey back

Don’t try and start an agenda now. We’ve had a decent season so far. Will bulut make mistakes? Course he will.

There will be games where we question his line up and he gets it right and time he gets it wrong.

2 points off play offs when no one would imagine us in that position after 12 games.

Most fans were happy with a mid table finish and that would still be a decent season.

There will be a lot of ups and down this season. People acting like we’re bottom of the league with no wins!

I don't get the negativity you're showing in this & other threads. If someone had said we would be 2 points off a place off place after 12 games before a ball was kicked you and I would have been over the moon with it yet you're not, I just don't get it.
We haven't been able to spend a penny yet we're sitting nicely in mid table & in my view Bulut deserves the season and then we can see where we are compared to the last couple of years.

Colwill was poor because his confidence has been stripped from him , he looked nervous and carrying a lot of pressure , bulut has treated colwill and robbo the wrong way , they’re not the same , and it’s not helping them when bulut publicly criticising them, it’s wrong .
They should be starting games .
Ugbo SHIT
Meite needs composure on final ball
Colwill n robbo have that extra skill that we need but they need to be starting .
And all this bollox about them not chasing back enough is shite

There were plenty not at it today. Disappointed by Wintle as he kept slowing everything down. I thought Goutas was immense. A couple of near misses plus the offside goal. Could’ve been a different ending. A mate’s son works for Blackburn and he spent the second half in the away end with us. His first comment was that we should attack Blackburn more and they’d crumble. They’ve conceded loads of goals this season. We only started to push when we went a goal down. Frustrating.

Re: Bulut DONT HUMILIATE OUR PLAYERS

I don't think he humiliates players that's a bit harsh Annis.

He has said clearly that Colwill (massively overrated by our fan base) and Robbo who has a love in don't defend from the front. With Robbo he scores 1 in 5 games, can't lead the line and is too slow.

You don't have to have the best team in this league just one that has a degree of ability and turns up every week and works their socks off... not Colwill or Robbo. They will not get us promoted.

Our fan base can't wait to turn on a manager, never satisfied. Even though we couldn't spend any money on players.

As I said I like Bulut but call it as it is. Starting Ugbo every week and banging on about work rate is going to do him no favours.

Re: Bulut DONT HUMILIATE OUR PLAYERS

I agree that Colwill did not have a good game when he came on, but he did not enter the fray until the 77th minute and we had to chase the game. I cannot agree that he was ‘terrible’ - yes he made some mistakes and took the wrong options on a few occasions, but the lad is under pressure and he does not deserve all the criticism aimed him. He only had 18 minutes on the pitch today, and I had the feeling that he was trying too hard to please. In my opinion, he needs to start a game and we can then have a better idea of what he can do over a longer period. There is definitely talent there, much more in fact than some of the forwards who regularly get picked. I wish him all the best and sincerely hope he proves us all wrong.

YAWN here we go it’s never ending when things are not right!
Same people, same complaints, same issues we’d be better off playing Amateur football.

For me , it’s simple..
Couple of points off playoffs!having had some tough fixtures away from home with a manager new to the league plus loads of injuries especially in key positions upfront like Bowler and Odawda …plus not spent a penny.
Looking forward….players starting to come back to fitness and no embargo in January so we can atleast try and recruit some quality ..

I’m feeling happy about the first 12 games and very positive about the next 12 games…
I would have bitten ur hand off if this situation had been offered in the day Sabri L left ..

Erik has every right to call out what he thinks.
Colwill is so poor at tracking back.. needs to up his work.. Robinson not good when he came on against Watford.
Don’t know why fans are moaning.. so so much better than last season.
Let’s end all agendas .
