MY VIEW: TODAY CARDIFF WERE ACTUALLY MAKING HULL LOOK LIKE B

MY VIEW: TODAY CARDIFF WERE ACTUALLY MAKING HULL LOOK LIKE BARCELONA & AT TIMES IT WAS EMBARRASSING.

The good news is City play Sheffield Wednesday next week who are by far one of the worse sides in the Championship.

Upfront we were toothless.

Players had No confidence, 8 games in a row dire football.

Bulut must take some responsibility as we are sliding down and the football getting worse.

Bulut took the praise , now he must take responsibility as he brought in 9 New players in high wages.

Home crowds will get worse.

This to me was so one sided, unbelievable.

Cardiff go down to 12th and a gap starting above, the play-offs we need to keep close, good news is City have Sheffield Wednesday next week.

Cardiff were making Hull look like Barcelona with their quality on the ball and passing, Cardiff looked clueless for the 8th game in a row.
Cardiff only had 32% possession and should be thankful only 1nil.
Cardiff were chasing Shadows.

FIRST-HALF: 3mins Dimi Goutas stopped a certain goal. Connolly rounded Alnwick, but Goutas thankfully cleared it, that was def going in.
First 20mins totally one sided all Hull City.
32 mins: It was well deserved and Connolly beat Collins and made it 1-0 Hull.
It was virtually all Hull City.
Toothless upfront by Cardiff upfront.

SECOND-HALF: 46mins: @JoshBowler10 replaced Ugbo.
56min: What a goal by Twine, unbelievable.

59min Hull scored a third. Tufan lobbed Alnwick.

66min: Romaine on for Siopis
Etete on for Meite

75th min: Ollie Tanner replaced Karlan Grant.
Robinson replaced Rubin Colwill

Fans can’t blame Runarsson now…

The whole team needs to wake up and sort this out.

It was another woeful performance with nobody coming out of the game with any credit

Need to regroup, start again and get through the Xmas period with a few wins and then hopefully strengthen in January

We are going through a dreadful period but we will get better!!

Another awful performance today but I disagree that our football has been dire for 8 games. Performances have properly nose dived since the Southampton game as prior to that we were competitive in the Preston, Norwich and WBA games. This is what alarms me now. There is no fight in recent games. We are second to everything and look scared going forward. The lack of depth in the squad is hurting us. Adams proving he is not a Championship footballer in a rare start today. But Bulut now has a crisis and he has to take responsibility quickly. He needs to change shape and style to stop losing. Waiting for January is foolish. We need some points quickly or we will be in free fall and back in the bottom 6 very soon.

Dark day effortless performance - so many areas were lacking confidence and skill

With injuries we need January to be a successful market to see the season out without being dragged into the relegation zone once again

IMO were only as good as our last game and that was sh1t also -

ON A POSITIVE NOTE UP THE CITY AND MERRY XMAS LADS AND GIRLS xx :santa: :bluescarf:

It just feels to me the players that gave us hope at the start of the season have been dragged down by the players are on their way out. Perhaps they feel they don't have to make the effort as their places here are safe. What has happened to the likes of Bowler and Tanner? Our back 4 were our backbone but now that has been truly broken. Although we had some sort of an attacking presence with our midfield and wing play we now have nothing.

Something is seriously gone wrong somewhere.

We were awful v Preston’s 10 men fir over 45 mins, we came alive in injury time

If you go back on topics you will remind yourself 8 games awful

Absolutely shocking , how can you play the two donkeys Mite And Ugbo together they must be the worst forward I've ever seen . Bullet must take responsibility for the way he sets the team up . No press and two passive in possession and then give the ball away . Two balls right over the heart of our defence for two goals . Just what are they doing in the training pitch? Sunday league standard.

too many not at championship level

Both keepers, Collins, Sawyers,Adams, Tanner, Colwell, Meite,Etete,Ugbo. He obviously doesn't rate Rimonhota and Wintle can only really play in one position in one formation.

We are paying for the Morison window

Tanner had a mad 10 mins on the right night against the right team, other than that he is nowhere near ready for a starting role in the championship. He is young and has loads of time, needs another loan, like Colwell

Is it good news we have Sheffield Wednesday up shortly? They've finally hit a little form now!

We're on the slide and it's quite alarming how rapidly its happened. Goals dried up and its looking alot like last season currently.

We need Kaba back to save our arses!

The football at home matches has also been ineffective, turgid and boring to watch - it is like having Morison / Hudson back at the helm.

Really hope we can turn it around but for me, Bulut has questions to answer and needs to show how good a manager he's purported to be.

Yep tend to agree although for me Colwell needs to find a better team. He is a luxury players of which we can't afford. He needs to be in a team like Leicester or Ipswich.

To answer Annis' question, we played some nice stuff against Stoke and Norwich but the other fixtures, very poor, insipid passing across the back with no press, movement, urgency or fluidity.

Totally agree about Ruben. He reminds me of a classy rugby union fly half, behind a dominant pack he'll tear you to pieces, on the back foot he looks a liability

Injuries are killing us as again we had no cohesion in the middle with no Ralls & the forwards are useless which is what you get when you can only have freebies & loans that nobody else wants.

Re: MY VIEW: TODAY CARDIFF WERE ACTUALLY MAKING HULL LOOK LI

Sat Dec 16, 2023 5:28 pm

Another game thought we only had 10 players on the pitch its strange, guess we need to change formation or something as what we play now players are so spread out and big gaps, we cant string couple passes together and our midfield just gets bypassed

Re: MY VIEW: TODAY CARDIFF WERE ACTUALLY MAKING HULL LOOK LI

Sat Dec 16, 2023 5:42 pm

This is a brutal league with the biggest most famous, richest domestic league as the prize. Its highly analyzed and resourced with the spread between the top and bottom pretty tight.

We have been sussed. The last bloke to understand that is EB. It's a strict tight 4231 (like everyone else) which we look good with Ralls, Siopsis and Rambo take two of those three away and we can't get the ball to the two wide attacking midfielders or centre forward. Early doors NG and O'Dowda drift in field to give you that extra body, Collins is a runner and can't do that so we are chasing shadows in the middle with inferior players.

Time to change the system until we get reinforcements with the skillset to do what EB wants

Tired , lacking ideas , players not chasing , very sloppy passing, and we can't hit a barn door ffs , need minimum of 5 top players in January
