Bournemouth are holding on to Kieffer Moore and will only let him go if they get in another Striker in the next 7 days, but it could go down to the last day.

Kieffer is virtually only a back up Striker for Bournemouth in the Premiership, but they need a back up.

Kieffer Moore wants to leave Bournemouth and play regular first team football and has made it clear he wanted to return to the Bluebirds.

Cardiff are out of the running as Moore is being courted by Sunderland and former club Ipswich Town, while Leeds United are reported to have shown interest, all three clubs are willing to pay the asking price £3mill if Bournemouth can replace Moore.

Unless Bournemouth change their mind and allow Moore out on loan, Cardiff are out of the picture as they are not willing to pay for him.

Bournemouth have paid Cardiff in full the approx £5mill with the extra payments all received by Cardiff City.

He’s a lot better than what we already have but I wasn’t getting over-excited about his name being linked to us, he threw his toys out of the pram when he was here last and I found him quite lazy, move on!!

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Annis, if TAN don t get him and he goes elsewhere i think Bulut might walk. It shows the utter lack of ambition, shift a few more out, i think FFp is an excuse, they can work it i am sure

For me Kieffer Moore, would be in our Top 2 players, we need a proven striker.

I am with you , Bulut won’t stand for not being backed at all and I like Buluts attitude :bluebird: :bluebird:

I believe the Leeds interest thing is rubbish. They have £12m Joel Piroe sat on the bench there. Why would they buy another striker ?

You think...? :?

With respect, this is where posters lose any credibility but so long as it's a negative and perpetuating the false narrative that the club (specifically Tan) are 'doing nothing' to get new players in...

The OP says Bournemouth will not let Keiffer leave unless they have a replacement, which currently they don't, so he's the only back up for Solanki...

If he is allowed out, his preferred choice is to come here and if he doesn't, it will be because Bournemouth have priced him out of our reach...

At an alleged £3m + wages, I think it wouldn't represent 'good business' for us; but I could see why a team pushing for automatic promotion might take the risk. It certainly worked for Bournemouth...

Players are coming but it's safe to say the goalposts have moved... :ayatollah:

With respect Sven it is not a case of false narrative. The FACT is - 26 days gone and NO new players in. Also yes we do not know what’s going on - but neither do you. Again the tone of your replies to posts and opinions in recent weeks is patronising and smug. We are all entitled to opinions even if they differ from yours. Remember you are a moderator. Please keep this in mind. Thank you.

Well said he is getting to smug and 100% agree with you (Sven).

My thinking is that we’ve put offers in for a number of players and clubs, agents & players generally sit tight and wait for a better offer or to get replacements lined up.
Imo we are absolutely right not to budge on our offer, regardless of how soon players join us. What tends to happen as the end of the window is that clubs etc get a bit ‘twitchy’ and see previous offers made as ‘acceptable’ ones now. This is why I’m thinking most business gets done towards the end of the window.
I can see how this is frustrating for EB as he has stated the importance of bedding any new players in but we should not be held to ransom.

Spot on

We need players but we are not going up and not going down so why pay overinflated fees, it's not the right time to buy and there are only limited average players available.

Tan should be offering to extend Buluts contract so he can relax and plan for a big rebuild and improvement in the summer using his Turkish Greek contacts.

If it was the summer Kieffer would be much less, now he's in demand from the big clubs to help with the final push, they'll pay it.

So basically He would not have been here as yet because his current club will not let him go . People
are blaming the club for him not being here yet.If Keffier really wants to come here then he does not have to go to any other club. He can sit tight until the end of the season and enter the final year of his contract with a greater say of where he goes.
I will point out I am really frustrated of our activity in this transfer window but can’t see what they can do at this stage with Keffier

So you and Brezza are giving me a break and having a go at Sven. You pair along with others of the same ilk are really unbelievable, nothing better than to find fault and moan about everything now its Svens turn.
So you can have an opinion but Sven cannot???
You really should get a life because you certainly don't have one now:banghead:

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

3m for a 30+ player is a lot, especially for our club who are working to a tight budget. Hopefully there are other targets that represent better value for money. We're realistically not gonna challenge for the play-offs so who's next on our striker list...assuming we have a list!

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

from my understanding Moore only wants a loan deal if he was to rejoin us. as he wants to get fit for the euros, but wants to remain a prem player

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

With respect Roger, I posted the other day that I was speaking to our vet who is from Turkey and remarked that he was Fenerb he supporter and they liked him as a player but not as a a manager. SVENresponded with straight from the horses mouth or cows arse..yet alittle earlier he tells Roath blue to be a good poster not petty one.perhaps he should practice what preaches or is it one rule for us and another for moddrators

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Thu Jan 25, 2024 11:03 am

He may not want to go to Leeds because they are probably going up and he won't be able to play next year again, I can see the attraction for him wanting to come to Cardiff again and play in the Championship, but at £3 million forget that.

What has my personal opinion got to do with moderating...? :?

Learn to separate the two, Brezza...

And for the record, it is my opinion that some people are too ready to seek the negative over the club's efforts on transfers...

As for knowing what's going on? You don't know what I know or how! Equally, it has been stated on here that the club are 'working hard' to bring new players in; or do you know factually they are lying...?

Others can (and will) disagree; but kerp it real, please...! :ayatollah:

For all those that say why spend now we are not going up or down what about us fans
shall we just give up hope then
and say f.ck we will just watch what we are given
i thought we where trying to rebuild a squad when do we start next season the season after how long do you want to wait?
while the fan base falls through the floor
does my head all these people going along with mr tan as if its there money tan knows running a footy club is not cheap
But we have to start and the fans are getting sick of waiting for the day we start signing someone who can make a difference

Fight fight fight fight fight.

You have got to admit it does bring a bit of entertainment in what is turning out to be a none existent transfer window.

Keiffer Morre has the last say on where he goes. If he wants to come here then he sits tight until Bournemouth blink.

He will not lose his Welsh place sat on the bench at Bournemouth.

The problem with your suggestion of shifting a few more players out is that the players under contract do not have to go if they don`t want to and the club can`t force them out to save the wages involved. There is at least one player on high wages who has categorically refused to move elsewhere (as he is entitled to do of course under his contract).
