It was reported a week or so ago the club's owner and Erol Bulut were close to an agreement on a contract of '
more than 12 months' and only '
small issues' needed to be resolved
If the same sources are to be believed, contract issues have now been resolved and the budget for next season is being finalised and confirmed
Erol Bulut is expected to sign a 2-year contract with an option for a third year and this will be announced very soon
I can only put out what I have been told but I believe this is happening and we can all start planning for next season, where expectations will surely be higher

Need a little bit more exciting news than this to boost fans expectations for coming season?

Chris we know what we are getting with bulut and as you've seen on here fans are split about him so guess we are expecting more of same which will see us safely be in championship come end season but fans want more than just stability in championship playing average football? I'm hoping he gets what he wants transfer wise if so maybe just maybe we will get the excitement we want! Plus is his signature enough to promote ST sales?

By the end of the season I had come off the fence and decided NO.
But under Tan we won’t get better as this Regime are clueless and Not many good would want to work under them anymore.
Buluts had NO offers else where just Media bullshit
But I will fully back Bulut and as he now know the Championship, so after 12 league games We can see certainly see where we will be going under under him.
Our Fan base is totally split / Divided on Bulut.
But We do need Stability.

Buluts tactic for another season, this is not exciting for me quite the opposite, more so as the man who should have been manager some time ago is set to get the Burnley gig, rubs salt to the wound. Already renewed , will get behind him from game one, but f**k me despise his boring predictable defensive tactic but moreso his inability to change it offer something different and play offensively with some flair and creativity. 125th year going to be the same heavy defeats to shit teams again and frustrating sideways football, let’s see….

No doubt Dalman / Tan / Morgan / Williams will all out a big spin on it when officially Announced and say we are building for the future and their is a plan in place

This is the stability we need at the club, we can now move on and start planning for next season. I just hope that Tan can rustle up a budget for new players

Other managers know Bulut now so I don't think we'll have the same start next season like we did this season (which let's face it, saved us).
Having said that he's pretty good in the transfer market. If he's staying, it hopefully also means there is a bit of a budget available for transfer fees. In which case, a few more permanent signings of the same ilk as Goutas and Turnball (incl a striker fgs!!!), along with some shrewd loans like Grant and maybe, just maybe, we'll get more consistency.
I can feel a touch of positivity running through my veins.

We need stability yes! But still not sure on Bulut? We need a plan, attacking strategy and most of all players who can deliver, and some ambition. Bulut is know where near the worst scenario. However, we pay to be entertained and excited, so for me attacking football is the only way. Whether Mr Bulut can deliver this, I guess we will have to wait and see.

The 2 year bit I am Shocked about??

Even those who want Bulut to stay are saying they would like attacking, flair, creative football. Shots on goal , bodies in the box, options, variety, adaptability to change during the game, I’m craving it!! He had a full season, cup games, weaker opposition, already relegated opponents, teams on losing streaks and not once did he set up offensively or show us that he is not a one trick pony. He is not our man, we deserve better. This season will be the same, he’s that predictable, and more fan division, we need uniting!! One of the highest paid managers and squads in a shit league got us to 12th thanks to a good early season Ramsey inspired run and set pieces. Not from playing good football or creating loads of chances. I will however give him another chance , I have to. He will have my support with a clean slate, I’m not hopeful though . Craig Bellamy/Osian Roberts /Nathan Jones / John Eustace and many more could and should have been in the hot seat by now.

Can’t say I’m overly excited by the prospect but hopefully some stability, which we need.

Thanks for sharing. Either way, we're wasting time, so it'll be nice to get a decision so he can start planning for a playoff push!

In response to the tweet,
IF it is correct, then it would signal a change of thinking from the owner. The third year is '
optional', so depending on how he does
I feel that Mehmet Dalman has a hand in this and there may even be a '
performance clause' inserted to safeguard the owner's fear of commitment...
Time will tell...

Chris take no notice moaners on here say boring football to come, Bulut could only work with what he had.
Why don't people wait and see what players we we will get in. I am quite confident there will be a good budget

Yes Annis you are totally correct. Stability is very lmportant but also the big concern for me is if Bulut left, what kind of manager would we end up with.?? Probably an unknown from non league football.

Have to agree. 'Warnockball' was like watching Brazil 1970 compared to what I endured last season. Not even a hint he would ever adopt a different football philosophy..
