Cardiff City are on the brink of signing QPR Winger / striker Chris Willock on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old winger will become Erol Bulut's first acquisition of the summer this week, with the player expected to travel to south Wales soon to complete the deal.

Willock is set for a medical this week.

Rumour has it that City are close to finalising a deal for Chris Willock now that his contract at QPR has come to an end.

Its most likely just twitter gossip, but if its true then it's one I could get behind.

Nippy winger, decentish return on goals for a winger, and adds to a position we need to bring someone in for.

If we can have someone not just break up play but also take control of our attack, help transition and progress the ball, we will see a huge improvement in the way we go from defence to attack, maybe even keep possession which we lack.

I hope he’s a winger who tries to get to the byline and NOT an introverted winger. These are the sort of players who get the fans excited.

This seems to have gained some traction now with multiple sources claiming that its imminent that its happening. I originally thought it was bullshit twitter talk.

This is the type of signing I want to see.

I’m always a little sceptical of YouTube ad often the player in question is playing against inferior opposition or there’s just one clip being shown about 20 times but everyone needs to look at this. Against championship defenders too. Incredible.
