Eli King - Loaned out again for the 4th time.

Wed Aug 21, 2024 5:58 pm

Updated:

Eli King sent out on loan to Stevenage after asking when will he be given the chance he was promised and spoke out saying No route for his age.
It’s the first time I have been told this.
Eli King and Joel Colwill both were supposedly the next first team players??

Hearing he’s off to Stevenage on loan.

I bloody hope not! He’s had 3 good loans in the last two seasons, and should now be pushing to be in the first team.

Eli King 22 yrs old in a couple of months.

I'd have him ahead of Ralls if I'm being honest.

Younger and Hungrier.

I feel he has a role to play in our team this year. Two good loans in recent times.

He has to be given a shot. We need youth in the team, put him in instead of Ralls.

This is a joke right? Everything we did that was good on Saturday went through Ralls.

Still not convinced he’s good enough for the Championship.

Doing well in League Two and Scotland is not the same as doing well in this league.

But I see know sense in loaning him out yet again. He’s either good enough for the Championship or not.

If he isn’t, just let him go permanently.

If we give him a chance and he isn't good enough, then let him go, it's understandable.

What I wouldn't like is us letting him go without seeing if he can step up.

That’s what training is for. Clearly decided from that he isn’t good enough, which I tend to agree with from the little I’ve seen of him.

But in that case, should be going permanently and not on loan.

I think another loan is the worst of all available options.

The confusing thing for me is that City offered him a 3 year contract in June?

Not good enough - why he was offered a contract I don’t know

Unbelievable he’s 22 yrs old soon, he’s either good enough by now or just get rid.

The People at our Club have been raving about king for over 3 yrs and Glen Williams.

And Bulut was.

League 1 is where we should send all our young young Stars, but we were told King was coming back for this season and was to be part of our Squad???

Move out

Because it’s continued bullshit and all our so called Stars coming through.

That’s what we were led to believe.

But Bulut wants a Dads army team

:-) Dad's Army - that made me laugh!

Sadly though, it appears to be true. Evidence to date suggests that Bulut is risk averse, rigidly stuck to a non-progressive formula and is so scared of losing, he packs the team full of defenders but ends up losing matches heavily anyway!

Yes he is off out on loan.

If wintle and rino go will that mean another coming in, we will need them as Ramsey and ralls won’t be able to last all season.

Agree. Why so much hate for ralls (easy scape goat again). I also agree king should stay but should play instead of siopis rather than ralls

The Ralls hate is ridiculous, the midfield falls apart without him there.

I rate King but where is he in Buluts depth chart

1 Rambo
2 Ralls
3 Siopis
4 Robertson
5 Turnbull
6 Rinomhota/Wintle (if one doesn't leave)

A loan to Christmas seems the best idea and maybe we get a premier league loan in as well.

Really?

If Eli King is good enough, then it’s now.
He will be 22 yrs old.

Continue with Dads army and we will go down.

I will say it again in 14 years not one player from sending them continues out on loan has ever come back to make it a Fact.

Good on him for speaking up. Should have been given his chance this year.

Re: Eli King - Loaned out again for the 4th time.

Surprised by King going on loan but those having a go at Ralls are watching different games to me. Has been best of all out midfielders in pre season and league games.

Re: Eli King - Loaned out again for the 4th time.

I think we should keep King, admittedly he'll be way down the pecking order but he'd be good cover for when our injuries mount up. It would be good for him too to just train with our boys week in week out and feel like part of the team.

He's a big lad aswell so he gives us young legs and some extra physicality.

Very bad if he's spoken out but we've just shifted him on anyway. Proves he cares but we don't necessarily. That's just wrong.

Yet more negativity hey. Hate being negative but sometimes it is what it is!
