Time that people accepted he’s not as good as they seem to think he is.

Not sure if it is lack on minutes when you look at some of the minutes played by other players in the squad who are playing at a lower level than Rubin as well.

Only one player in the squad (midfield and attack) are playing at a lower level than Colwill and that’s Sheehan and he’s playing regularly for Bolton and is more like an Ampadu type player.
All the forwards are playing at a higher or similar level to RC and quite frankly playing better.

My main point is a lack of minutes would not be the issue Others in squad have not played a game this season and they are in squad

He’s better than Ollie Cooper though and he’s in the squad

We are killing him. As we have done with all of our young players.

Agreed 100%, sad that some of our fans seem to revel in us ruining a very talented player.

Hardly.
He’s capable of pieces of brilliance.
He doesn’t do it consistently enough.

If he did it consistently, he’s a £20 million player.
His potential is ridiculous.
Maybe if he had a run of games playing in the centre, we’d see some consistency..

Because he’s never given a run of games to do that.

Classic chicken and the egg isn’t it mate.
He’s not really a 6 or 7 out of 10 is he? When he’s good he’s a 9, when he’s bad he’s 4 or 5. We can’t afford to carry that 4 or 5.
He starts a game or two and quickly looks like he’s gonna be a 4 or 5 so he doesn’t get the consistent run he needs.

How does 6.66 compare with other players?
That would have been a fair few 4s or 5s in there I bet with the odd 8 or 9. Proves my point in a way.

An independant source gave him 6.66 over all appearances for last season.
Also, Russell Martin, one of our recent nemesis disagrees with you after some excellent praise last night.
