If you brought in a progressive young manager like that geezer now at Brighton, you might see a line up like that. If Bulut selected that starting 11, I'd suspect he'd taken something spicy before the match!

1) let the wingbacks become wingers when attacking, overlapping or cutting in with the forward wingers interchanging to support Reindorf or go wide.

2) Chambers sits when we go forward making a back three

3) We need less sideways passing and more vertical balls. I'm not talking long balls I mean straight balls to the centre forward/false 9. This drags opposition centre halves forward and brings our midfield and wide players in to play to overlap whilst importantly turning their midfield. Look at Boro on Saturday and the few times we do it... zip a ball in to the forwards feet and the game immediately starts to speed up and break up... More chance maybe. We pass slowly around teams and they have a load of time to sit.

We then have players like Rambo and Sio to come on to close the game out as it slows to their pace.

Rambo is not a 10 anymore he is the weak pivot in the high press, gets passed around and wastes energy. Let him sit in midfield with chambers later in the game.

Ng is a league 1 fullback not a modern wingback, that is a problem. loved Conte there last season... Where is he now?

Anyway that's what I would do.

Why is everyone picking Ng he has been rubbish this season he was two yards or more behind Roland when he volleyed that shot in for Swansea which Horvath parried to Cullen.
His crossing has been poor, he has really been poor so far.

His crossing has been poor, he has really been poor so far.

It's a marathon not a sprint. Harsh to drop a player after a couple of average matches.

Remember, this guy has been Player of the Season for at least 2 years on the bounce - there's a reason for that and that's why he gets picked. NG has consistently been our best performer over 2 - 3 seasons hands down.

How do we feel about trying Colwill as a striker...
