Wales continue their Nations League campaign in Iceland on Friday night.

Craig Bellamy began his managerial reign in the competition last month with a 0-0 draw at home to Turkey and a 2-1 victory in Montenegro.

Here, the PA news agency looks at the main talking points surrounding the Group B4 fixture in Reykjavik.

Building blocks
Wales boss Bellamy will be determined to build on a promising start that saw the players instantly take on board his ideas.

Bellamy said a lot of information was delivered by him and his coaching staff in a short space of time before September’s opening two Nations League fixtures.

The aim now is that Wales will be even better this month after more time spent on the training pitch and in the meeting room.

Joe Allen not in the squad tonight.

Owen Beck also misses out, he's with the U21s.

HT: Iceland 0-2 Wales

Good job so far, Johnson and Wilson with the goals.

Turkey only drawing at home to Montenegro, they'll probably get a breakthrough but it will be a bonus if it stays like that.

Pity about the yellow for Johnson, he'll miss the next game now.

True, but I'd rather him miss Monday than get booked in that game and miss Turkey away.

O dear, Wales have fallen asleep. 2-2 back to the same old terrible defence.

Fair play, the Jacks are useless. Bellamy needs to wake up to their inadequacies.

Whist Iceland went at us our ability to hold onto the ball is extremely poor just panick after panick passing

We will do well to hang on here. We have totally lost our way.

It was ... and for some reason we had no response to their hight energy press in 2nd half
The apitemy of a game of two halfs .... shame as turkey about to win 1-0

That was an absolutely pathetic second half display, and we were extremely lucky not to lose. Bellamy is no better than Bulut or Riza playing out of defence, and it is a worry going forward, as they were very slow and poor at it. Jordan James had a very poor game and should have been replaced - he was lucky not to be sent off, and his passing, especially out of defence, was dire!

God 2nd half Wales made City look like Brazil. We couldn't pass to each other to save our life, we looked more like a parks team. I think Bellamy in his interview said he had learnt a lot. I bet he wasn't so calm in the dressing room after watching a capitulation like that. We were lucky to get away with a draw

Shocking second half the subs didn’t make no sense,I think the ball bounced off burns everytime he was awful, and what I didn’t like is the players and Bellamy seemed happy with the draw and wasn’t disappointed that we threw away a 2 nil lead

It's the Bellamy way, it is high risk, high reward.

I don't really mind with Wales but we'll get tanked when we play a decent team. In the evenly matched championship, we'd get suckered punched every game.

He may as well play with a false 9 as there is no point playing Keifer anymore because even when it needs to be cleared we decided a blind short pass was the preferred option. It's madness but that's what we signed up for, A footballing Phd, that may be a total disaster or re-invent the game.

Some of the comments are fickle as can be.

One week Bellamy is exactly what Wales needs, this week he is 'No better than Bulut'

Give it a rest.

One person has said that?

Everyone's disappointed but it's not like we're calling for Bellamy to be sacked.

We praised him after the last two games, it's only fair that he gets criticism tonight.

Tried to edit my post after I noticed it was one person, but it wouldn't let me.

Craig Bellamy says he's pleased with his side's performance against Iceland , despite losing a 2-0 lead against Iceland.

Wales went into the break ahead thanks to goals by Brennan Johnson and Harry Wilson but were pegged back by two Logi Tómasson goals
