We are still terrible

Sun Dec 29, 2024 7:23 pm

A good away win. Yes.

It was a win we had to get to stay a float. Nothing more nothing less.

We are still the same poorly run club.

Same hierarchy, same management and coaches, same players.

If you were thinking of not protesting because of today’s result, think again.

Title is harsh but true, BUT

Thus is a top post re the Protest.

18th January 11:00 Admiral Napier. Players do a bit. We'll do a bit. Inch by inch let's get the Dictator out of the club.

Guess need to win next 6 games to make a happy forum! Watford unbeaten at home and won most while drew two of the games yet people still wallow in negativity at everything ccfc.... this side is better than the results have been just poor tactics cost us valuable points as today shows better tactics got the result... so why can't people focus on this instead of dragging upstuff that is plastered on nearly every thread .... :banghead:

Becasue the players and club have deserved the criticism there is no doubt about that.

Todays game goes a small way to correcting one or two things but they are still miles away to a full correction.

We can never move forward as a club while we have Tan and the board in place.

I think our job is to support Riza and the team. It’s not their fault that Tan is a maniac. We all pull together in spite of Tan and we can stay up.

Deserved criticism last 10games today beat a team that won 9 drew 2 at home ...... todays performances mirrored the 6 games when he 1st took over then he changed tactics? there is a decent team in there so why can't the performance be praised for today and hope his tactics stay same? We do not need reinforcement of the countless anti ccfc threads entwined in posts.... anyway I enjoyed the city tv commentary it was positive listening so let's hope do same on Wednesday ...

The club commentators are awful. They just make out everything's always good and if we lose we're just unlucky.

A bit like the people pretending everything is fine just because we scraped a win today.

You'll be lucky read posts on todays win and lots are full of other things and not the result or performance ... perhaps just fed up of reading same stuff on every thread....todays performance was indicative of when he 1st took over and now he should stick to it...but fear Robinson will miss game on Wed with the knock he took and we won't be as forward thinking.

Re: We are still terrible

Sun Dec 29, 2024 11:09 pm

In most games you can see they have something to offer , let's just keep playing our skilled players like Robinson and build around thier skills ,we don't want strikers running everywhere, all we is quick ball to foot , into Robinson in the box. He knows how to score ,in fact he's our best striker be a country mile.

We have just beaten Watford who have lost their 1st Home game of the season - This was an excellent result .

But as I posted before - We can't go losing our Home games to QPR & PNE - Who both were in bad form at the time .

We need to put a run of unbeaten games and get away from this Bottom 3 :bluebird:

Re: We are still terrible

This topic doesn’t mean that I was unhappy with yesterday’s performance.

It was a great performance against a team who are ruthless at home, and are in the play off places. I was very happy with the performance.

But just because we won, it doesn’t change how poorly run we are as a club, and the lack of interest and direction from the board.

We still need to protest, so the post is more about that.

Re: We are still terrible

Mon Dec 30, 2024 11:03 am

Great result today, but 1 win doesn't change the fact the club is extremely poorly run. We can still protest against the regime and support the team.

"We are still terrible" after an away win at Watford. That's the spirit.

Great win unexpected, that through ball from willock was awesome then the cutback from ashford for Robbo , well played guys :ayatollah:

Re: We are still terrible

Mon Dec 30, 2024 12:07 pm

What's the thread about? How terrible we played or how terrible club is run? Because it's not about how well we played against a good side because only got couple words of reluctant praise about performance .... if its about performance why not keep it to that why do we need to be hearing another thread on way club is run got hundreds of those threads already....getting pointless reading anything as you know subject end up about board ect... yesterday was a terrific win but you wouldn't think so reading this forum.

I know where you’re coming from but it could have been worded better; particularly the title…! :ayatollah:

The bigger picture is the way the club is being run; but yesterday’s great team win deserves to be given the credit it deserves against a very good unbeaten (not anymore) Watford

For me, the players and manager deserve as much praise for yesterday as they did stick for Oxford… :ayatollah:

Disagree Chris.

The defeat at Oxford was more costly than yesterday's win benefitted us.

Yesterday's win means nothing if we don't win on Wednesday.

Agreed with this. Major difference between the optimists and pessimists of the forum; which I think are both aligned in wanting that clown out of the club.

Ned, I see your point on the Oxford game (a genuine 6-pointer) and Wednesday is 100% a very important game…

But yesterday was very important after Oxford and the two issues of on-field team performance and ownership should be separated in the interests of the playing side of the club and keeping us in the Championship beyond this season…

I feel 18th January will be very well attended. Let’s hope Wednesday’s game is too…! :ayatollah:

I must admit I can understand why posters want to emphasise the continuing poor state of affairs but a little acknowledgment of something good happening makes for a welcome change and much more enjoyable reading.

It would be nice but some are stuck in a vicious circle of depressive thoughts towards Cardiff City. I’ve been there myself but a first away win against an unbeaten team at home has no negatives whatsoever.
