What a shocking decision.
Most referees wouldn't even give a yellow for that.

Was a red card
Just watched replay had to be red card, worse as we had already conceded a goal.

Disagree, it's a challenge that happens every week.
Says it all that Coventry fans are saying it's not a red.
Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:33 pm
A definite red. Elbow at the player, not even a natural movement for something like jumping.
It was stupid.
Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:06 pm
Not a red for me, kiefer would be sent off every game 3 or 4 times lol

Yep but some have been smoking hard crack this Xmas gone it seems. It could of been any player for any club you can't wave your arms in people's faces then pretend it's an accident when the ref catches you so apologise to the player milking it for all this worth on the floor. Robinson is a moron end of and it's not the first time he's done the exact same and been red carded either but we all know this.

The problem is one weeks it's a red the next it's not in other games it's so inconsistent in football.

?? To be a red card need to endanger an apponant or be deliberate elbow it was neither he went up with arm straight his arm touched his face from a standing position but he got Robinson sent of by pretending it was a swinging elbow/arm and died on the field after being shot by a table tennis ball..... original ref wouldn't have given red.... not even sure ref saw incident properly either.. appeal it will be overturned as would var done so

One hundred percent a red all day long.
Deliberate elbow in the face dangerous and reckless
Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:12 pm
Some refs would give a red for me it's a red card these days .
It killed the game I haven't seen it close up though .

Do u you know what dangerous and reckless is? His arm was strait ordid you miss that? Besides if he swung his elbow deliberately the player would have had bloody nose or lip all he had was a smile at job well done

It's just a weird decision.
Putting on the Brentford v Arsenal game now and I'd say there's a high chance of a similar challenge but it won't even be a yellow.
If we appeal it, it will be rescinded I think.

Idiotic from Robinson
Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:21 pm

Meite did the same move (backing into a defender) on 85 mins. Not even a foul. Not mentioned by those having a period over Robbos.
Robbo does the same move in every game.
People saying its an elbow need to watch Gavin Gordon back in the day... THAT's an elbow. Softies.
Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:28 pm
The Coventry player that went down, what a fanny.
Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:29 pm
I thought he was trying to hold off the defender, it wasn't a swinging arm, you see forwards doing it every game. Would be interesting to see what the original ref would have decided. Ref was giving them everything, plus how shirt pulls went unpunished and grabbing city players around the waist no cards shown. Very surprised he blew up dead on 5 mins stoppage time. Only good thing he did.

It will be overturned as it wasn't deliberate or an elbow..unfortunately elbow is part of arm so 100% chance it will make contact if use arm in anyway.... if their player stands up yellow at most ref should have looked at the non existing blood on face if was flailing elbow that would told him something.

How the f**k can you say that was a red card ? Some of u still pissed from last night .
It’s got to be overturned
And again the ref has cost us , another one of lampards buddies
Wed Jan 01, 2025 6:09 pm
The replacement ref was piss poor couldn’t wait to give any decision against us to please Lampard .we were well in control until the 5 mins of madness after half time .2 big points dropped today and if we don’t start winning our home games we will be doomed .Thought Siopis was excellent today and would make him captain as having a goalie capt doesn’t work for me .
Wed Jan 01, 2025 6:26 pm
Was sure it wasn’t red at the time and saw the replay during the game that confirmed it shouldn’t have been red, well and truly tucked up by that pathetic excuse of a 4th official.
Hope he breaks down on his way home and has to wait 8 hours for the AA
Wed Jan 01, 2025 6:30 pm
Didn’t look like a red card from the Ninian, ref should have gone to the fourth official

(our canton boy) for advice.

Totally agree with you Ned. Didn't think it was a red at the time and still don't now I've seen the replay.
Yes Robbo's arm is up but it's not a swinging arm and there's no power behind it. Cov defenders reaction made a very poor ref make the wrong decision.
Hopefully we will appeal and win otherwise he's out for 3 games.
Wed Jan 01, 2025 6:51 pm
Just watched the red. Never a red for me.
Wed Jan 01, 2025 7:00 pm
Riza has said in the press conference that they will appeal it. Didn't sound happy and told the ref. Fingers crossed.

I've watched replay numerous times and fail to see where you say its red. His arm is raiser and jostling for position but no malice. Yellow maximum
