Hi there i travel from portsmouth to matches at city .Have we got a transfer embargo on us or not as i saw it in a few papers today .I have asked a few people but nobody seems to know.

I think we may, DJ said in an interview today that there are players lined up but he understands that we cannot bring anyone in until the financial issues are sorted out. I took that to mean until the tax is paid, we have an embargo.

Not sure on that one because Crystal Palace are currently under an embargo and they had a few players on loan including Freddie Sears. He would still be there if West Ham didn't recall him.

when you google it - you find the words - PLYMOUTH, CRYSTAL PALACE & PORTSMOUTH - and previously NOTTS COUNTY - nothing at all about CARDIFF CITY!

go look on the football league website "any club that has defaulted on players tax payments to the hmrc cannot sign players"

nobody has to announce these things publicly now because its league rules brought in by believe it or not the club chairmen in june 2009
