Well those statements are in inverted commas in the Sunday Express so Its safe to say that the Express are directly quoting him, but I agree what a ridiculous stupid statement to make. That statement will come back to bite him on the arse slagging off the fans who line his fecking pockets.

RIDSDALE: I'M UNDER SIEGE (SUNDAY EXPRESS 17/01/10 BY COLIN MAFHAM)

CARDIFF City chairman Peter Ridsdale and manager Dave Jones have revealed a bitter battle to beat a hate mob that is campaigning to drive them out.


Ridsdale has even offered to quit as the pair continue to be targeted by an anti-English section of their supporters.

The chairman’s offer to resign was turned down by the club’s board but he revealed a catalogue of intimidation, which has seen potential investors frightened off by the climate of hate surrounding the club.

Ridsdale, who promised Cardiff could pay a £2million debt to the taxman despite a threatened winding-up order, said: “Even the local evening paper seem to have an agenda to get me out. All I’m getting is abuse – I’m under siege.

“The only thing that will make these people happy is when Dave and I go.”

He added: “I’ve never known anything like the hate here – they chant ‘Stand up if you hate the English’. To be honest, if God was the manager here he wouldn’t be good enough for some of these fans.”

Brilliant! We will indeed only be happy when you leave the Club Peter, but that is not from your being English, you could be the man from Mars or a little green alien for all most of us care, all we want is someone competent and trustworthy to run our club and you are neither. Your ever depserate actions are becoming more and more laughable, don't you see that your position is untenabe Peter?
