Bit harsh mate, maybe they just don't see the point !!!
Sat Jan 30, 2010 7:24 pm
I was more interested in supporting my team on the field and stayed until the 94th minute! when thousands of fans had already departed the CCS. Unfortunately for them, they missed our winning goal because they simply felt that we couldn't win the game. Unlucky guys, we were rewarded for keeping the faith yet again.
I am in agreement with TLG that a demo will have little effect on our current situation at this current time and therefore felt there was no need for today's actions. Peter Ridsdale has it coming regardless of demo's or not.
And before you ask, YES - I did pass my £329 to the Riddler for player sales and got ripped off just as many of you guys did, but i will seize my opportunity when I FEEL that the time is right.
Good luck to you all though with your protest, you are entitled to your actions, I hope Ridsdale F**ks off sooner or later.... for all our sakes.
Sat Jan 30, 2010 7:31 pm
The problem (if that's the correct word) is the team are winning. Whether you like it or not fans don't demonstrate when the team is winning.
I thought our fans were brilliant today and I certainly wouldn't class those who stayed until the 94th minute to cheer a hard fought win 'spineless'
Any way Ridsdale will be gone soon I have no doubt about that.

surely you mean spineless, you arrogant tosser, you wanna protest fooking protest, don;t expect everyone else to jump on your shitty bandwagon.
every city fan knows risdale is fooking useless,my voice and energy went on supporting the team, then i went for a pint.you saying your more passionate because you protested, bollocks mate.
Sat Jan 30, 2010 7:36 pm
Why are they spineless because they didn't protest after a good win?
Yes you lot want him out I don't I'm happy for him to finish the job he started!
Plus theres only one way people could hear about this protest that was on the message board which alot of the 20k fans don't post upon other than that your post is completely off the mark calling us spineless the atmosphere in there today was fantastic

What happened?? when did City fans become the docile take anything fans that we now have at the new stadium???
this would never happen before!!!
lets face facts this Board is all about look after themselves no one else!!
Mr. Borley and Mr. Guy paying off the tax bill out of their blind faith for the club?? Bollocks theyare all out to make, they are money men thats how they work and why they are backing the Riddler!!! Just stop and think about that piece of land earmarked for the hotel for a second!!!
City fans have changed and not for the better., we had passion, we had belief we were the club. well after today we are f**k all!!!
The trust?? bollocks it is being laughed at by the board in its first season.
Ridsdale!! I'll be there after every game until your gone from my club!!!
As for the spinless twats walking on by keep walking as soon enough youll see the club in admin!!
If Borley was just a money man then why aint he never pulled a salary out of the Club? Theres also far easier ways of making money !! so he spends a few mill to build the VERY MUCH NEEDED House of Sport and what do you think the returns from that are going to generate exactly? His biggest customer will be Cardiff City does the club come with a good refrence to paying its bills?

Ridsdale's a SCUMBAG.
However, protests won't change anything. The only thing they can do is show people exactly how we feel, and I think with us and the media, that's a forgone conclusion.
Ufortunately, protests and demostrations create the OPPOSITE effect. A few hundred people demonstrating leads to the impression that their views are the minority ones.
Protests and demonstrations are usually benefit minorities, not the overwhelming majority.
Some cutting, articulate questioning of Ridsdale would be much more effective. From what I've seen from interviews, meetings etc, they're akin to being savaged by a dead squirrel.

I would rather have a demonstration against DJs tactical knowledge
Sat Jan 30, 2010 7:54 pm
f**k me your never going to get all the fans to demo, you need to wake up and smell the coffee,i remember when tony clemo was the chairman, and people signing a petition to stop the sale of jimmy gilligan, they did`nt sell him, they sold kevin bartlett behind the fans back, then the next thing was to boycott a home game, only a few stayed outside with banners, but fans just walked passed and through the turnstiles, its like fans moaning about beer and food prices, but their still buying the stuff,if you want to change things, then you have all got to be singing from the same hymn sheet and until that happens nothing is going to change.

thats good
the next phase is to organise and mobilise

most of us have supported cardiff city for years
we aint got anywhere with all this valleys verses city bollocks , this messageboard is better than that messagboard bollocks, I am a better fan you bollocks
in all the years I have watched cardiff city we have never organised
its time to do that now
only via proper representation and thought out procedures will cardiff city as fans get anywhere

ridsdale has showed himself for what he is at thart recent press interview
as soon as he was on the back foot his crocodile smile showed through
but he wont be able to do that for much longer
you can shout and scream at a person like that as long as you want, its dealing with facts under scrutiny where he doesnt like the heat
and he will be doing that at the EGM/agm
he knows that the vast majority of the fan base want him out and are sick of his rubbish but its only via the right process he will be forced out
and one of those avenues is the trust

too f*cking right
the protest today has been seen on the news
thats one way of doing things.......and those that went behaved superb.......ridsdale would have loved loads of bother...but the fans showed that we are better than him
another way is the trust ......the club dont like being scrutinised ...and there are already lots of people involved with influence and expertise
everyone can help
we all have ways of making this club great once again...even in little ways
the more we get off our arses and back up the talk with action , the better

Whatever your views, the Trust is easily the best way for fans to organise. This is why I was delighted to finally join today and I suggest that every fan of OUR club does the same. I handed over money to the Club and the Trust today, and you can guess which I felt better about.
Support the CCST!

Mr Humphrys, you have a right to protest, and it's a free country, so those people who do not want to protest have the same right to walk past you as you vent your understanable frustration.
I popped around the front of the stadium and, like the majority of people there, I watched and listened to the shenanigans of what were mainly kids who are gonna get a bollocking off mam for ruining thier bedsheets. I stayed for about 5 minutes but got cold and thirsty so made my way to the warmth of the Gol centre. Hope you enjoyed yourself though.
Sat Jan 30, 2010 9:19 pm
most of those people demonstrating their balls hadnt dropped, they were just there looking for trouble. come on most of us have seen chairman come and go down the years. ive seen us in div4 2nd from dottom with shite crowds. the trouble with most of cardiff fans threse days dont know their born.
Sat Jan 30, 2010 9:21 pm
I enjoyed the protest, City fans were AS ONE.
Sat Jan 30, 2010 9:23 pm
There were not all kids there at all. Get your facts straight!

Charming. Let's get some FACTS out.
I will defend to the death your right to protest. It is a free country, but your verbal abuse of fellow fans is bang out of order. Many of us today are long enough in the tooth to realise what is going on at the moment is no different to any other period in the clubs history, steve borley apart.
We are skint and have an utterly contemptable chairman in charge who is widely disliked. Wha's new? 150 people shouting the odds is not going to make a blind bit of difference. Let's all stop being armchair chairman and start focussing only on the team. Great atmosphere today, great win and let's have the same again this Friday. Bollocks to the boardroom. We'll always have a club no matter what the doom mongers would have you believe. Holding a daily mail-esque minority protest will have no effect. I bet Riddler was shitting himself.
Don't worry about him, he will get his cummupence soon, you have to trust me on that. Abusing fellow fans for not joining in though, is pathetic.

Sludge I do not slag off the trust I say the board are laughing at the Trust at the moment , two different matters.
I for one dont feel any valleys/cardiff split and it wasnt evident today.
