Peterborough 9th Feb = STAND UP and BE COUNTED

The demonstration on Sat 30th Jan following the game against Doncaster was widely proclaimed to be a success and drew national attention to the cause. It is important that the momentum is not lost and WE show this board of directors that we are not happy with how this club has deceived and misled it's fans.

I understand why some fans were upset with the 'low' turnout for the demo but I think that if more numbers turn out for the next game then it will show that the demo is gathering pace and support and in turn will put more pressure on this board of directors to act. It will also show the board we will not just go away.

It needs to remain a protest that is peacful and to take place at the main entrance again and away from the game itself.

Also it is important that with the increased numbers we also have known faces there too.

So once we beat Peterborough we protest outside the main entrance again.

I'll be there as I was Saturday and will be every home game that follows until he is gone. We should have been doing this already for weeks, months even.

A more direct approach INSIDE the stadium is needed. I agree that Saturdays demo, despite low numbers was successful, but I can't see many staying after a mid week game?

I would love to be there but due to work and a 200 mile round trip i cant make it.

On Sat i walked out of ground at FT and went fairly close to the main entrance of the ground. Saw 6 coppers and fans milling about rather than standing in a protest so took my boys to the car park to meet the Mrs. By the time i was in the car i could hear the protest. Should have gone back but i was fcuked.

If the parasite is still at our club at the boro game (my next match) i shall protest.

I for one shall be there, could not make last week's one as my pops was with me for his 70th..

Roberto you are obviously entitled to your opinion but we must keep the protests away from the game as we do not want to have a negative affect on the team nor can we be blamed for any failings the team may have.
Please keep all protests aimed at the board of directors and after the game.

I really think a sit in would be more effective, much harder to ignore. Needs big numbers though that's the trouble.

Take your point, but I just think that for more impact a protest of sorts inside the ground would definitely get the message across. Not talking about pitch invasions and stopping the game (like Chester), but once peoples interest in standing outside after the game starts to fade, and the TV cameras stop covering it, we will have to do something else.
And, surely the players know the score, and realise the protest is not aimed at them?

I cant see the harm of a massive 'Ridsdale Out' chat for 1 minute when he takes his padded seat before the game them support the team for 90 minutes big time.

I think it may be better if we protest prior to kick off rather than after, People wont be rushing to catch trains to the valleys etc... and more people will be milling around outside and see whats happening, Ridders also will be inside and unable as the last one to escape onto the other side of the stadium it will shake him up prior to kick off, What do you think or would you still rather post macth
