What isthe biggest shithole you have visited with ccfc?

Apart from the obvious 3 (Swansea, newport & brizzle) the crappest place has to be wigan. An absolute hell hole full of weird looking people wearing umbro shellsuits with white socks and black slip ons.

Aldershot-i saw my 1st ever league game there in 1978. My old man took me to watch the shots v wigan. Quite bizarre. Always had a soft spot for them and was gutted when they went bust in 92. Crap ground but full of character with thepark benchesdoubling up as turnstyles.

I went to bramhall lane a few yrs back with the eldest boyy andtold the mrs that sheffield was great for shopping. The Mrs took my daughter shopping whilst me and the boy watched us lose 5-3. I got back to the car and had a tirade of abuse about deserting her in a northern shithole, full of birds wearing veals/burkas with primark being the classiest shop. A night in the days inn on the m1 didnt endear me any further to her!

Yep, where I lived in Surrey, Aldershot was my nearest ground. A rpoer dump, and no mistake

As a place, Middlesbrough and Barnsley are both utterly desolate holes with very little going for them at all.


I quite like Hillsborough though. For those of you who loved Ninian, Hillsborough is just bigger, that's all.

CHESTERFIELD - my first city away game, f**k was it a shit hole. was great fun though i think it was this game, where they have a church with a bent spire, some witty songs being sung that day about it!
