We need as many previous quotes by any board members can you help us dig them out please.

Things like " if we dont move on after this we need shooting" all these will be going national in the press so can you please make sure they are factual.

I assume we are looking for quotes that have since been seen to be lies?

The DJ quote is an opinion and could in no way be quantified later on. There are enough PR quotes that have turned out to be lies. Oh and the infamous role out of DJ to boost ST sales.

To be fair, I firmly believe Jones was used and abused over the whole season ticket scandal. He wanted the players just as badly as us if not more and he can't be pleased with how it's all gone. However, Ridsdale is his employer and he's not going to come out abusing him is he?

"We are happy that Cardiff's relationships with its creditors, including HMRC, are such that we will not have any financial issues that will affect the ability of the club to continue to trade as normal in all aspects of its business."

So why the winding up petitions???

"I personally spoke to the Revenue before Christmas. I told them we can pay at the beginning of January and they were happy with that.

"We have a good relationship with them. They know what's happening.

"There will be funds coming in this month and I'm confident there will be no issue with the Revenue after January.

"We will have money to pay our tax bill and we'll have money to do things to the team."

“We will be bringing in new players this month, I can guarantee that.

“I would go so far as to say that come January 31, we will be holding a press conference to parade the players we have brought in during the month.”

“I have now done that. When the stadium is built, I will walk away from the club."

“I am a great believer in financial prudence when it comes to football.

“There has been, over the last couple of years, real evidence of financial prudence here, which is in real contrast to previous years.”

"I was asked to join a football club that was absolutely bust - losing £9m a year and £30m in debt - and to resurrect a stadium scheme that hadn't got a cat in hell's chance of being built," said Ridsdale last night. "If I was successful, I would be paid a one-off bonus. At that time I thought I'd just get that done and go but the circumstances are now such that I am a salaried employee."

"We're committed to paying £5.25m in transfer fees so far this summer after signing Michael Chopra, Mark Hudson, David Marshall, Paul Quinn and Anthony Gerrard. I'm pretty sure that's the most this club has ever spent in a single summer.

"We're doing everything we can to support the manager and build a team that can challenge for promotion. If you look at our levels of investment, I don't think we can be accused of not being ambitious."

Not a lie in any way shape or form but possibly the most fucked up comment a chairman has ever said.Week In Week Out reporter questions him about his time at Leeds.Ridsdale 'when I left Leeds they were 75 million in debt, what the people seem to forget though is that we had 5 incredible years'............................Oh thats allright then Peter, why didnt you say earlier and there would have been no need for this documentary, you've obviously got it all under control.

NOVEMBER 26th IN THE ECHO:

“They’re [HMRC] just rattling our cage. We’ve held our hands up and given them the cash and as far as we’re concerned that’s the end of the matter. There is no issue. We’ve paid them quite a lot of money. There is a small amount outstanding and we have agreed a payment schedule.

“We have sufficient funds to satisfy them and everything else we’re doing. We did have an issue, but it’s been resolved. I’m more than happy.”

He expects the case to be dismissed when it comes back before the court on February 3.

“The case was put off in case we don’t keep up with the payment schedule,” he said. “But we’re sticking to it. I fully expect the judge to say ‘Cardiff City have been good boys’.”

Wales online 11th August - Peter Ridsdale -

On negotiations with the Malaysians

“The deal will almost certainly include sponsorship and we are already talking about shirt sponsor, stadium naming rights and an investment.
“But I must stress you don’t do things overnight.
“It’s a case of them trusting us and getting to know what we are all about”.

Do the Malaysians trust you now Peter? especially as when I asked you at the Muni meeting, "while you were negotiating investment with TG, did you make him aware of the tax issue, you replied "yes". I then asked you to retract that (because I had it in Black and White from the horses mouth that TG knew nothing about any tax issue) to which you eventually replied after a lot of fannying about, "they didn't ask". Telling porkies eventually come back and bite you on the arse Peter

that one press statement as far as im concerned sums the man up to a tee and should be produced as sufficient evidence to uphold the vote of no confidence.
