These days they would probably play it behind closed doors and bring the S.A.S. in as security.

Like I said since I have followed the Swans we have won 15 drawn 10 and lost 11

Swansea getting into the Premier Leage (and playing so well there) is a major achievement, and anyone who says anything else is (in my view) being a bit foolish.

At the moment, they are in the ascendancy, and we have to accept that.

However, the real test is can they sustain it (I think they probably will), and can we get up there as well. If we can, then lets see who does best, as there's never been a South Welsh derby the top flight.

The truth is that we have both under achieved massively over the years and lets hope those days are behind us (well, especiaally CCFC ).

For what its worth, Swansea have the better record in derby games, but as most of those have been played in the lower divisions, does that really matter?

The key will be how we both do in the next decade - then we'll be able to say which of us have the better record.

Mind, I forgot to say that the record in derby matches is fairly close, in truth, especially over the last few years - equal in league results and they had the one Carling Cup victory (but they're never made the final of eother that competition or the FA Cup).

well tbh im not sure if tokyo take comfort in our welsh cup victories nor do i give a f**k, personally though i take great pride knowing weve beat your scummy lot more than youve beaten us, whatever the competition, coz thats all that matters really isnt it? beating your rivals. and you always sing never beat the jacks too.

Comment, we won the F A cup in 1927 and haven't been in the top flight since the sixties, they on the other hand have been in the top flight twice in since the seventies, as great as winning the F A cup must have been, we must as a club get out of the championship and into the P L, that is the only place to be.
