What are the odds on Michael Laudrup to follow Joe Allen out of the door?

The good word is this is an extreme possibility

Hmmmm. Maybe even Sinclair.

But if Laudrup stays maybe Monk and Tate will find themselves surplus.

With Joe Allen worth 15m Sinclair has to command at least 25m eh? :-D

Allen will be back at Swansea within 18 months!

Sinclair is the joke one here ,young and needs to play but is going as barely a squad player ,will hardly figure in that squad other than cup matches.the young modern footballer eh goign for money and no games ,at least brenda will use allen, but then ive never rated sinclair has pace but seems to have bee nsussed out and did nothign for team gb

Sinclair will leave £5.5m ( Man city) I also think Ashley Williams will leave as well

Re: The Good Ship Swansea City

Why would Laudrup be leaving anytime soon then?

Allen and Sinclair for 20m though.Yes please :D

I was talking to a Jack :o who reckons Spurs are after Neil Taylor but never mind they have got Alan Tate to fall back on

Re: The Good Ship Swansea City

Taylor leaving would be a concern. Not sure he's any better than Assou Ekotta sp though. So from that,i insist that your 'mate' is talking rubbish.

I can't tell whether Carl is fishing or whether he genuinly believes Laudrup is going to resign

We're going to get Allen for a fraction of that £15 million in a couple of years, Mark Davies is a better player (although a couple of years older) and we should be able to sign him for £6 million in the next week or so.

As for Sinclair, Williams and Taylor, the club have said that no first teamer will leave without being replaced. Based on the quality of Laudrup's first three signings, we've got nothing to worry about.

I'd rather be in our ship than your rowing boat with one oar , never actually getting where you want to go just round in circles

So unless they've played a competitive game I can't assess the quality of a signing of a player now

Had we signed someone like Emile Heskey then you'd be doing plenty of assessing.

Brilliant post from waddle

Selling club if swansea were seriously looking to progress you would keep your best players as you dont have to sell.
No good having money in the bank and a new manager splitting up and selling your tight knitted squad.

15 million for Allen ! I can understand how the Jacks maybe rubbing theirs hands . However they need to consider that his replacement may not be the answer .
I guess time will tell.

As i've said, any first team player that leaves Swansea City will be replaced.

Yes,but we're not stupid or deluded enough not to realize that we're not a massive club and ultimately our better players will move on eventually. The way we look at it in Swansea is if our manager or best players leave then we must be doing something right and then what we have to do is replace them, which we have and are doing. It's how things roll in the big league pal. It's not our fault Liverpool have come in and took our manager. But what we'll do is adapt and overcome this just like we always do.

It's all good in Abertawe pal
