I certainly would not use the egg as an excuse for missing a ccfc game. The only things that stops me from watching ccfc week in week out are finances (4 kids and a wife who can't work full time due to illness) and my location. Evening games apart from when i'm off work are almost impossible-the only night game i've been to this season is Brighton away.

Cheers-Mrs has been ill since last summer. Still don't know what is wrong with her. Had to travel to Southampton Hospital this afternoon for an appointment. Got there to be told by doctor that she was at the wrong appointment-this afternoon was for botulism and she was wrongly referred. Needs to see a neurologist. To say i was fuming was an understatement. Got to wait longer.

Working out my finances at mo to see if i can afford 3 season tickets. It will piss me off if i miss out on prem league (if we get there) as i've been an exile for over 20 years and have done the crap like wigan away on a wet wednesday and got soaked through on open terraces at the likes of twerton park and st james park (exeter not geordie). It will hurt me not to be able to take my boys who regularly get crap in school for following their dads team but hopefully i can sort my money out and fulfil my dream of seeing ccfc in top flight.
