' MALKY THE RACIST ? '

I've vented a bit about all this on Twitter so won't repeat it all here.

What does concern me is the two players who were leaking info to Moody. Presumably, they've been moved on from the club, but when the spygate story came out wasn't it alleged that Gunnarsson's phone sent the team lineup to Moody, but that the club were completely certain that he was innocent?

Does this mean two of our players used Aron's phone to leak the line-up and cover their asses/f**k over Aron?

From memory the forwarded text message said 'Straight from Gunnar'. I think it is probably more likely whoever the mole was (Probably some backroom staff member friends with Moody) got the lineup from Gunnar who probably gave it across innocently in good faith. That was my take on it anyway.

In work environments with a multi-ethnical staff, a boss wouldn´t survive a minute trowing out these kind of racist comments. You can´t compare a football club to a garage.

Yes, this is what I got from it as well. Gunnarsson giving inside information to a trusted inside member, who turned out not to be very trustworthy.

I was in about the sexist comment more than anything I've heard a lot worse on here than his 'sexist' comment

Something like 'wouldn't mind having a go on her' or whatever he said as for racist comments yeah they were only joking between them but really is not acceptable

none of them are really acceptable, saying something of that nature to a mate in private is one thing, but this was a business setting, and if any female collegues or agents had seen it then i doubt they'd have thought "yeah, well i've heard worse"

it isn't acceptable in any workplace full stop.

I am horrified sad and shocked about malkys casual racism. I would never have expected it and I was a malky fan and really admired him. Still believe he is a talented manager but now that talent will be lost due to his bigoted attitudes which have no place in the modern game. This does not alter my opinion of Tan at all. But I'm now relieved we have a new manager in Ogs who will not be alienating half the squad. Just unbelievable that he is the same age as myself and goes around with these kind of stoneage values. he probably thought he was in the clear after the apology. Tan though had to give the dossier to the FA due to league rules, Tan not only got a public apology but now looks as though Malky and Moody will be hung out to dry

Why did you need to mention an age group here? It looks like you are implying racism and sexism is just the older generation (which in itself is ageist!). Moody is in his 30s and Malky early 40s.

Their behaviour is immature, unprofessional and down right offensive. This was more than "team.-spirit banter", it really raises questions about Mackay's leadership abilities. There is absolutely no excuse for the racist comments, no matter how pissed off he was with his boss, and the comments about the other players are shocking beyond belief.

As for the sexist comment, he wasn't in a bar with his mates eying someone up after a few beers; he was in a contract discussion trying to convince someone to join the club.
