I tried to explain to you yesterday Monty, people need to be patient because these things can be complicated and take time. It’s not just a simple process of saying - yes I’m signing or no I’m not.

Agree mate. Imo this will / should make him even more of a hero with us as he had the chance for one last huge pay day.

Look at Declan Rice and his transfer from West Ham to Arsenal for example. It’s all done and dusted and has been going on a lot longer than the Ramsey situation but cannot be revealed yet for whatever reason.

if this indeed true what a refreshing change to see a young man turning down millions of pounds which he could have earned finishing his career abroad to spend more time with his family and return to play for his boyhood club.

He has obviously made a decent living over the years and decided that being at home with his family is more important to him than one last huge payday elsewhere and he deserves massive credit for making that decision.

Well done to the club as well if they get this over the line - credit where credit is due.

Remember his debut (against Hull I think?) when this skinny little 16 year old ran onto the pitch and we all knew we were seeing somebody special.

Trust me I am so pleased I was wrong, over the moon he has come back, all credit to Cardiff city & Aaron Ramsey for making this happen. So happy

Well done the club for making/allowing this happen and most definitely a massive thankyou to Ramsey for having that desire to come back home. Turned down big bucks elsewhere to be back in blue, so refreshing and utmost respect!!! Got my kids the new kit last week, absolutely buzzing for the new season to start!!!

Also I echo that people need to give him time, don’t get on his back if he’s not firing straight away, he is the perfect example of what a true Cardiff boy looks like, turning down thousands to come back home, fair play to you Aaron Ramsey

What I am hearing Dalman made an offer to Ramsey , was well below what Ramsey is use to.
But Ramsey has not wasted all
The money he has earned.
His time with his family means much more to him than the big money offers else where.

Ramsey is doing his best to get out of the trigger in the contract with Nice, might even have to buy out.
So yes if Ramsey expects some % of sakes season tickets / merchandise etc etc then yes for me he’s worth it.

Aaron Ramsey is very close to finalising a deal with Cardiff City, apparently on a two-year deal. Ramsey is in talks with Nice to get out the contract extension they are trying to trigger.


As I said weeks ( June 4th) ago Ramsey is determined to come back and home and it is a done deal now just waiting on paper work from Nice and FIFA.
No later than next Monday Cardiff have been promised.

City board still believe Ramsey is coming back to Cardiff City and Dalman remains that a deal is done

Aaron Ramsey's contract at Nice expired last month, but it is understood Ramsey played enough games to trigger an extension clause.

There has been no announcement or confirmation, however, to suggest the relevant parties have agreed to him staying on with the Ligue 1 club after Ramsey failed to agree a long-term deal.

Ramsey is also adamant he wants to stay in Cardiff.





Cardiff and Ramsey is done all personal stuff sorted and contract done.






Ramsey’s agent this week just gone met Dalman and Erol Bulut at The Vale Hotel.

Erol Bulut was very optimistic that it will still happen as he told his staff

There has been a few snags along the way, but mostly now sorted.

I'd like to echo the sentiment here.I remember well some of the shouty arseholes giving Bellers dogs abuse when we weren't winning.What must be remembered is that its down to the other players as well as Rambo if we are to be successful this season. More quality and options are definitely needed.

Agreed, remember people shouting abuse at Bellamy (especially in his first spell with us) and it was totally uncalled for.

Fans need to be patient with Ramsey and he will show his quality. He needs to get to know the rest of the team and I expect he'll be going to Portugal with the squad, which will help.
