When we went 1-0 down, it was hard to see a way back. And Callum Trotter( ) comes on ) and then we gift them a 2nd goal. :banghead:
No blame attached to Riza, it underlines how thin our squad is. Hopefully Eyete and Davies wii ateast give other options.

A battling performance from the Bluebirds but sadly the difference was our former player, the mercenary Keiffer Moore…

Good signs overall though and we can take heart from a performance llike this… :ayatollah:

FINAL SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 2 SHEFFIELD UNITED (90+5 mins)

Personally, I don’t think we can take anything away from that performance.

We never looked close to scoring again during the full 90 mins!

Don't understand why you would call Moore a mercenary. He gave us a good season with 20 goals and the following season, he got understandably frustrated with our owners reluctance to strengthen the team.

We were starting to drag Moore down and I had no problem with him moving to Bournemouth to test himself in the Premier League. Any other good, ambitious player would have done the same.

Today shouldn't surprise anyone. We had a good striker, but our owner and wonderful transfer committee thought it would be best to cash in and try (and fail) to replace him cheaply.

The same can be said for every single position in the team. I think only O'Dowda would get into our successful teams under Warnock and Malky.

That's how far backwards Tan has taken us.

League 1 will potentially be catastrophic. Really not an easy league to get out of, and I fear for us big time if we go down to L1.

It's getting closer to a reality though.
We have skirted with it for a few years now.

Look at clubs that have a yoyo history with Premier League promotion and relegation but haven't invested wisely tend to struggle and go down.

It may be the best thing for us, Tan will probably asset strip then hopefully for our sake sell the club.
Then new owner rebuilds....Oh an ideal world eh

Well, even taking his stint here aside, he hasn’t really ‘settled’ at any club, has he…? :?

I applauded his two goals today; they were class and the biggest difference between the two teams…

However, no matter what part the club’s owner played, he went ‘on strike’ in his last few months here and that was a professional disgrace. He was/is money-orientated, i.e. a mercenary…

However, his career will be remembered for (assuming Sheffield United gain promotion this year) for being a top Championship striker, who helped three teams to promotion to the Premier League before being jettisoned; sadly, none of those teams were us…
