Indeed.

The numbers are slightly different of course.

True. Our creditors will be paid fully though, rather than 5p in the pound.

Apart from those given basically worthless shares of course.

But then we could round and round with this again but lets not bother eh

Very true.

this thread is hilarious !! 6 pages on a ccforum when they have managed to scrape a draw against the worst form team in the prem league currently...

i think they should be wondering why the couldnt put the ball in the net against a team who have shipped in 15 goals over xmas and failed to score any!

who cares if they dominated possession etc... its about putting the chances away...

dont worry about us we still have 20 games to go!! getting concerned about our possible promotion with just over half a season gone is going to do you know good at all... please dont lose anymore sleep over it..

I created this thread, not to question football style or tactics (both teams are doing very well) but to question whether you felt comfortable selling out to fulfil your dreams of reaching the promised land. Lets face it, the old cardiff city were never going to do it were they, but at least you then had your integrity intact. It looks like your deal with the devil is going to pay off, but at what cost? You'll probably try and brush it all under the carpet, but we will NEVER forget the shenanigans down at lego land over the summer of discontent. It was pure comedy gold. Or comedy horror, depending or your view point. The initial denial that your beloved uncle vinny would even contemplate stripping your identity on a whim (something that was first brought to light on a jack m.b). The shock and outrage when you realised it was true, and the complete u turn when he threatened to pull the plug. Cue lots of bending over, sucking up, and brown nosing. Meeting sprung up all over cardiff and the valleys. Pro red sub-committees were arranged, pro blue sub-committees were formed in response. Anger, outrage on both sides. Gwyn and his brown shirts storming one particular pro blue meeting, Gestapo style with underlying threats of violence! However my favourite chapter in this whole sorry story, was when one particularly brown nosed sycophant actually offered to collect uncle vinny and his posse from Heathrow in his car! It could only happen at cardiff city, such is your superiority complex. You just couldn't bare to see your little cousins down west stealing all the limelight, and sold yourselves down the Swanee to put things right. Tut tut cardiff city. Hang your heads in shame.

My God what a bitter, twisted and obsessed Jack you are. The rest of the world will forget about last summer soon. Yes some have had their fun at our expense but will soon forget. Most actually are concerned that if such a thing can happen to Cardiff it could happen to them. Then there are the minority like yourself who wont let it go. Why because you are obsessed. You carry on because you will be a total embarrassment even amongst your own.

Yes yes, I get all that, but still no one will answer the original question. I know its an uncomfortable one for you, but will you feel comfortable watching the "blue birds" running out in their lovely red kits in front of a world wide audience, having whored yourselves out to get there?

Not for me, no. I absolutely hate it and hate the idea of our club whoring themselves to this Malaysian money.

Won't stop me following the team though - just because I disagree with how it's run.

Light years?

Take Michu out of your side(which someone will sooner than later)then you'll be a below average side in an average division

We're cruising towards the first welsh club championship title winners and will strengthen in the summer

I fully understand why you're back at panic/bitter mode

See you soon tramps

Of course you had input. When this all first came to light there was uproar, and rightly so. However when uncle vinny threatened to "look to bring other investors in" in other words, pull the plug on his little venture, you all dropped your grits and touched toes. Well, maybe not all, but the majority. It was hard to watch even for a jack to see you all begging him to strip you of your very identity for his "war chest". You had the chance to keep your identity at that time, but you bent over and thought of the money. Just like a cheap whore.

Whats so funny with this twit is. That he forgets they dont own anything! And anything they do to stadium is going into a black hole and benefits ospreys aswell! They take moral high ground when in reality whored themselves to council so they could have a mickey mouse stadium! They couldnt even afford the fittings inside stadium hospitality suite! At least we funded half our stadium ouselves

Mmm who whored themselves to council because so broke couldnt afford anythlng especially new ground!
And i know this is wind up but there is not one club given same circumstances as ours who would not do the same thing! and if you say you wouldnt your just lying to score points over us!

Allan, if you weren't as thick as pig shit you could make it as a politician. The way you skillfully deflect direct questions and skirt around the subject matter at hand, really is an art form you've so nearly perfected. However, just like paxman I'll keep asking untill I get an honest answer from you.
I'll ask you a direct question that only requires a yes or no answer. Do you feel comfortable selling out for the chance to play in the premier league? Mr chuckle has regained some sort of dignity in my eyes by answering the question honestly. I know it can't be easy, but why don't you take a page out of his book? Perhaps then, you can stop the self loathing and get on with your life. I should've been a therapist!
Are you comfortable selling out?
Yes or no?

Magic flaps! Happy New Year you Gypo you!!! was wondering where you'd got to! Good to see you on the CARDIFF forum AGAIN!!!

Thought you'd gone in to a fit of depression after finally coming to terms with the fact the Gower's not yours!

Its good youve got over it and your now focused on trying to get us to not get promoted because we play in red at home now but its not going to happen. Yeah the red sucks but we'll get over it in time and im sure when the bluebirds who are playing in red come up to the prem league and beat you it will make it a bit easier to digest.

In my eyes, the fans against the rebrand cannot win.

If you continue to go, you're branded a sell out. If you stop, going you're told you're not a real fan.

The rebrand stinks, but the club decided to go with it. Sadly the majority of fans aren't even concerned enough to ask questions and some even turn on the one who ask the questions.

The club will view it as a success, but the divided fan base will still exist. The fans don't matter to the club though.

Happy new year to you daft.
The Gower is part of the city and county of Swansea. That my friend is not an opinion, but a cold hard FACT! Anyway, reading between the lines, although it can't be denied that the redbirds are top of the league, it would appear that many are not happy with the performances. Are you concerned that if performances don't improve, you will become the whipping boys of the premier league? Provided you don't bottle the second half of this season of course!
