Yes I was told 7am this morning that he passed his medical.

Wayne , paper work with foreign clubs can take a lot more time and I did say either today or Monday at the latest.

Cardiff City are waiting on Nice to confirm the player's departure from the French club, allowing them to sign Ramsey on a free transfer

Doesn't really affect football clubs though. It's a seven days a week business, even on holidays.

Put it this way, their team are playing a friendly today and all is required is for their board to send the confirmation of the termination of his contract.

So it could be today, Saturday, Sunday or Monday....

For all we know, they could have sent the documents and now we're just waiting for clearance from the FA.

Once that issue was resolved which is now , there were still formalities about international clearance for the transfer and signing the Cardiff contract.

Ramsey has been based in south Wales in recent days and as such has been dealing with Nice from afar.

At Nice, the midfielder made 34 appearances during the 2022-2023 season, including 23 as a starter, and scored one goal.
