59 police injured last Saturday, be interesting what they say about todays.
Personally I wanted both protests to go if peaceful , last week they were treated with kid gloves.
This week they came to make a stance and show pride
They went looking for a fight because they can't get it at football any more. So did Welsh boys from Wrexham but at least they were on the right side.
This I will totally dispute with you , the majority went to show their support for our history.
I could say exactly the same about BLM, but I don’t see things like you do one sided, they also had a minority that chose to go there to just fight, but not the majority.

You know what Annis - I can see where your coming from and yes perhaps it is a bit close to the mark/bad taste.
I'll be honest I found it funny without thinking it fully through but can totally see where you are coming from.
But the one thing I absolutely take my hat off to you for is that the comment obviously upset you based on your response but you let it stay up and just voiced your strong opinion.
Given that you ultimately have the power to pull a comment you don't like down as this is your property I genuinely admire the fact that you didn't and instead responded.
There are a lot of people in the media who could do well to take the same approach rather than shutting discussions down because they don't like what was said.
Fair play to you for being a man of principal mate. Massive, massive respect for that.
Thank you , but yes that comment got to me and hurts as I have strong beliefs regarding Britain and the wars and I belief in our history and I fully support All our soldiers and leaders from those times as they fought and stood up for our country.
Plus even if you don’t agree you can’t suddenly pretend it never happened.
I left it there so others can see how low some go.

You know I read it in entirely the opposite way and saw it as a dig at BLM. Dangers of just text on a message board I guess. But whichever way it stands fully respect your stance on leaving it. Fully with you on the the respect our fallen soldiers deserve btw.

Onto yesterday. Again, people have the right to protest - if it’s peaceful. Once again, I’m sure there were plenty of well intentioned people there who struggle with the changes they’ve seen in their communities over the years and don’t feel like they’re ‘white privileged.’
From the pictures and the videos I saw yesterday there were plenty of people who embarrassed themselves by behaving like they were at a lairy away day. The presence of Britain First and other highly dubious individuals and organisations only reinforced that view. Our parents and grandparents fought fascism. Anyway, lets shoot this statement down shall we...
So depending on your definition of 'western'. If you're talking western Europe then the majority of parties are left/right coalitions (Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland) with the exceptions being us and the Czechs on the right and France, Germany and Ireland on the left.
If we broaden it out to include the Nordics then you can add Norway to the right and the rest of the Vikings (Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Finland) to the left.
If we are looking at the developed west then we will would need to include the US on the right and Canada on the left.
If the definition of the West is to also incorporate the anglosphere then we need to add the Australisian nations in there which again is one apiece with Australia being right and the kiwis being left.
So a total from that lot would be 5 on the right. 14 on the left and 5 left/right coalitions.
Not that this has anything to do with Cultural marxism mind you. I'd look into Derrida and Fouceau if you want to brush up on that whole can of worms.

The CDU in Germany is leading a center right coalition, Fine Gael in Ireland is center right and Macrons government is center right. He worked for Rothschild bank. Hardly a left wingers. That's three you've got wrong.
Of the coalitions you've noted Austria is headed by a center right party, Luxembourg is center right, Holland likewise and Belgium is in a permanent coalition. The Swiss are SD.
Of the Scandinavian countries you mentioned Iceland is governed by the Liberal conservatives so again center right.
You mentioned Britain and the Czech Republic as being to the right but you've not mentioned Poland, Hungary or Italy which are right wing populist governments. All of which make the final figures you've used in your conclusion wrong. What were you going to shoot down again?

The Overton window has clearly shifted too far for a decent discussion to be held if you think Finn Gael, CDU or Macrons government are centre right. Quite simply the terms we are using are so unrecognisable in each others lexicon that I cannot see how to further this conversation without descending into the familiar tribal insults.
I do question the veracity of your position and whether you are acting in good faith given the reference to an OED definition of Communism as 'promotion of unity and equality among all races and nations'
This simply is a lie.
I looked back to see if I could find that definition anywhere and came up with nothing, not in the OED nor anywhere else. It is a clear fabrication and the fact that when searched for the phrase in isolation the only example of it appearing was you earlier post suggests it is a fabrication made up by you and you alone.
The link to the search is here if anyone needs it https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALe ... CAw&uact=5
You may be a left-wing zealot or ideologue, you may just have a shallower depth of knowledge of the subject and so are perhaps overly reliant on google rather than actual political understanding, or you may simply just be a troll.
Frankly I suspect it is a mix of all three.
But the discrepancy behind your interpretation of a political spectrum and my understanding of the same spectrum are so alien to each other that I doubt we would ever find enough common language to even begin to identify middle ground.
Sorry but at this point I'm out as continuing this 'debate' will get neither of us any further.
I wish you the best but I think to offer the most positive and generous view i can on this I believe you have some serious errors in your political thinking.

Yes there were some similarities between Fascist Italy and Soviet Union under Stalin. Where they differ in my opinion was Mussolini was happy to allow an amount of free enterprise where as Stalin definitely didn't being the paranoid psychopath he was. Neither were systems I'd like to live under both being anti democratic. I don't believe BLM are left wing revolutionaries though it's enevitable that some are and neither do I believe all the people under the FLA grouping were Nazis and or racists though it's enevitable some are. What both groups have in common is that they both have violent elements which everyone can do without.
I strongly disagree with the defacing of war memorials. Half the BLM doughnuts damaging them don't take into consideration that thousands of black and Asian troops fell during the wars. Even Nelson had black sailors in his navy. Likewise having fascists "defending" them is equally abhorrent to me being ex Army.
I understand your point about No Platform at University, it's a tricky one and one neither you or I will solve. However I don't believe cultural Marxism exists because if it does it's been doing a rubbish job considering we've got a Tory government and have had for over ten years.
Nothing personal though.

British folks seem to have very short memories Annis, lots of para’s there but not getting a mention on the news?
Chatting to two of my mates of Jamaican decent in Cardiff today, absolutely disgusted by the vandalism on Churchill’s statue, agree with the slavery ones as do I, but now it’s going too far. They will be renaming ‘Great Britain’ soon, or maybe it will just be banned.
