Anybody know when the meeting will be over and we'll actually have some factual information regarding this baseless rumor that has snowballed out of control?

My initial reaction is anger at the thought of changing our colours because someone thinks it is a lucky colour.

We must wait for the club to announce something before we can fully understand the plans the Malaysians have.

I said only weeks ago that there would be a total overhaul of the club this summer and a restructuring of it too but not once was it ever mentioned of changing our identity as we know it.

I have been told Vincent Tan wants to change 26,000 seats to the colour Red, our home kit to Red, the Bluebirds to go,our badge to change totally and our stadium eventually to become Red.
I have also been told that many people within the club have advised VT not to do this.
Apparently Red is VT favourite colour and Red is VT lucky colour and he believes Blue will never get us promoted, I can only tell you want is being said.
The name Cardiff City will remain.
An Announcement will being coming soon.

We are meeting the Club tonight to discuss it all.

ARE WE WREXHAM IN DISGUISE?!?!?!?! Lmao... to be honest im not keen on the idea but maybe its not all bad. i know a lot of people are upset by the idea but we are proud to be welsh and red being the nations colour and the welsh dragon is more native to wales than the native American bluebird lol... or maybe a Celtic look, green and white with a celtic badge... i don't know, maybe im just looking at the brighter side of the whole situation... if someone gave me the choice then id say stay blue but i don't think its the end of the world if we did change colours and we wont be the first team to do so and i doubt we be the last and how many times has our badge changed in recent years??

Vt can go and fxxk off and take his Red and shove it I will never be able to convert to that I am institutionalised totally in the Cardiff City as we no it .Change it and the Identity of the club is forever lost and I wont have a club to support so go and book a one way ticket back to Melaysia land and don't come back VT.

How can everyone complain?! its a colour change, theyre not changing the name so the club wont be losing its identity at all. Firstly they're doing this to help the club go global with is a good long term and we'll get £100m and a bigger stadium

i think people who are against this are just short sighted to be honest, and the only way this could "damage" the club will be by the moaners stopping turning up becuase of something which is actualy posititve

Been going for many years (too many!!) and while i don't like the thought of a colour change part of me does not really care anymore. Top level football lost its soul many years ago and now it's all about money - just cannot get the highs (and lows) that football used to give me so if you ask do i want us playing in red but safe financially or in blue and bust just cannot really decide. There are times now when i almost think sod it and walk away and not bother anymore - unfortunately that's what money has done and i don't think the real passion will ever be there again. Now it's all sit down, be quiet and give us your money -very sad

Being from Norway, I have won't pretend to be someone I'm not. For those who have supported this team for years I can't imagine the dissapointment you feel. People supporting other non-PL clubs sympathize with the Bluebirds in this matter on the leading norwegian forum. The welsh dragon is an awesome symbol, but the bluebirds isn't a national team. If a £100m is to be invested, it's surely a good thing, but it doesn't make sense to change the colours anyhow.

We've been blue for longer than anyone on here can remember. It just feels wrong to change it; very wrong. I like many others am grateful for them essentially saving CCFC and for continuing to support us. A £100m investment sounds wonderful but it cannot be at the expense of our identity.

I don't think that they will now walk away, but they now know and understand not to tamper with our distinctiveness.

It was a nightmare and our worse time in our 100 plus history :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Our club lost its pride and identity and is paying for it now and those bastards Reds broke my club I loved so much
