A forum for all things Cardiff City

The only part of the OP that was slightly on the mark was that the vast majority of fans aren't there to sing and chant but are there to spend some time with mates and family.
All this 'family club of the year' nonsense has ruined the atmosphere.
But I still couldnt live without it. If you want to stand and shout and swear and sing without being told off then move to the Canton. If you want to sit and have a good old natter about the village goss then go to the Arms Park.... I hear that's the normal etiquette there!

How has the club improving the family section changes anything I'm the other stands?
To me it's exactly the same now as it was before they won't the film award.

If you consider the amount of space that the family stand takes up and where it is (and I would suggest that most older supporters with young/adolescent children don't go into the family stand) coupled with the increasing amount of females attending then the family friendly approach to things is a damp squib.

Love the new stadium, Just wish we could bring the noise of NP with us.

It's people like you that have put me off if anything. Big headed, wannabe yuppie student wankers who think they know it all. You don't understand this club like we older generations do and the best thing you can do is pipe down, stop complaining and f**k off to Old trafford.
Merry Xmas to you all.

The rebrand has f**k all to do with the atmosphere. Its the 'Modern Football' experience.
Or was I missing something first couple of years at the CCS? Cos its been f*cking shite
from day 1. I'd gone for a pie just b4 half time, when Noones goal went in, from the
noise some of the fans made watching the screens down there...
I thought we must have got a corner

I look forward to every game like a child at Xmas.

Yeah, here we go again Paul. Words, no action. Always the victim, its never your fault, getting people banned. Had numerous PM's about it so I know all about the stuff you've done.
If you think that the current stadium is anything like NP then stick with the same dealer because the stuff he's selling you is obviously good stuff.

What I find is the only time you can hear singing is the people around you. In back of 106 Canton it sounds very loud at times especially against Bristol City. However we have Bristol fans claiming they cant hear us chanting and vice Versa I heard GSTQ and around 2 other songs otherwise you can see people gesturing etc but no sound, Ninian Stand I heard one song eminate from there. So it appears everyone is singing but the acoustics dont carry well or people are singing but not enough in large numbers to enable other parts of the ground to hear. At least with compact smaller stadiums you can hear the chanting !! it seems lost in the new stadium

Barnett, the only new stadium you have been to is the Emirates back when you were an Arsenal fan. Got to admire someone who keeps a blog about a team he sees once or twice on the television.
