If Celtic also then tried to get in the conference it would be hilarious considering Ledley moved their to join a bigger team and play Champions League football. Even more so if we do make it to the Premiership and hes playing Newport County.

They wont join for the simple reason the football league and premier league are seperate bodies. The Prem league stated a few days ago they will not allow Rangers in the Prem, so if Rangers won The Championship they wouldn't get promoted as they would need permission to join the Prem.

I'm getting sick and tired of Rangers playing the victims in this.

Scottish football is being restructured..........whatever happens RANGERS WILL be in the second tier so it's plain stupid to say they will not be promoted.

They broke the rules big time and if it was anyone else no one would be complaining.

To me they are a horrible club with a good number of their fans being bigoted and vile.

Stop your whinging Rangers.

If you let one in then you need to let them ALL in and that includes all the wee teams too. I am a big advocate of having a British league, the WPL is dying on it's arse. Small clubs like Aberystwyth and Bangor couldn't give a monkies about losing to some no mark Swedish team in the first round of Europe every year. They want to see promotion and relegation struggles.

And before anyone says it will be too costly the football league is significantly regionalised after the first 5 leagues All those Cardiff City fans who despise the idea of team GB are massive hypocrites! We play in the ENGLISH football league system and if you gave a damn about Welsh football that much you'd support a side in the welsh premier league.
