Interesting although I spoke to Nicky just this morning and he said he hadn't started training yet.

I don't see why he'd want us to be red at almost every away game. (We already are, when we could have worn blue) but we don't get exposure on away games. Home games we do of course

Who said I didn't want Tan here, just didn't see the need for the pointless rebrand.

I still think we will get Charlie Austin, his contract runs out 30/6/2014, so no way will they get £7 million for him more like half that price. Think we may get him and we will hear the phrase "undisclosed fee"   :ayatollah:

Austin aint a target man he plays more like chopra , and campbell is taller than austin . :D

Cambell's 5'8, Austin's 6'2

my fault thought campbell was a lot taller than that he looks big tv

Gestede is 6' 4" but it doesn't matter who the front man is, if he gets the ball played as high into him, that Gestede, Mason & Helguson had to contend with against Ipswich!

With regards to us playing in red, there is a rugby team called stade francis (sp) their owner pumped millions into them and he picks their kits, some are really floral! Not all of us are glory supporters. Some of us just want to watch the real traditional Cardiff City we grew up supporting and falling in love with, whatever the level.

Sorry but I don't understand why we take so long to make a signing. If its brinkmanship then we could be gambling with promotion and potentially we have more to lose than the selling club. I'll be surprised if we sign anyone of quality in this window, permanent or loan.

You got to admit the way Austin bullied Hudson and Turner when Burnley played us said to me he is an out and out target man.... :o :o :o no, but wait I had to check my programme to check which one was the 7 million pound "target man". To me he is a grown up Joe Mason.

Not sure on Frazier, he looked a world beater a few years ago, but he has had some nasty injuries.

I would love Carlton Cole (who did bully our centre halfs) or Cameron Jerome

Talk about your, "Rock and a Hard Place".

For far too many years we have dreamed of top flight football and now it seems that it is the thing that will kill off the Bluebird and any last remnants of the Blue Kit. I can only see failure to be promoted as in any way giving us a chance to keep the Bluebird.

Promotion brings new fans and old ones will easily be replaced. Failure may cause a rethink on spending so much in changing the stadium.

Once the stadium is converted there is no way any future new owner will revert unless a fan with billions comes in.

Sense at last. Without VT's money we would be going down the road of Pompy. Do any of us like the colour change no we don't. Do I want to see the bluebirds in the Premiership yesI do.

You never know if we do get up and stay one season he may well get rid and the new owner could change back to blue?

I totally agree and this is why in some ways, success scares me. A part of me feels the more successful we are, the more the identity of our club will be ripped to pieces and the less entertaining it will be watching my club, trying to achieve mid table mediocrity every season in the Premiership and paying £62 to watch us at the Emirates while being surrounded by glory supporters who weren't there all those years ago when we were shit and have no care for the tradition of our club. Being honest, if things go wrong and we slide down the divisions like Pompey and get our identity back, it would not bother me one bit as the identity of our football club means more to me than any success.

Try telling Tan that. He's changed the traditions on a whim, doesn't give a f**k about how the fans feel.

You and I have always been on the same wavelength over this. As Mr Tan is a businessman, I feel that at some point he will sell the club when he can make a profit. That's the time to campaign seriously for a return to blue. :ayatollah:

well thats obvious about fans! but he still didn't change on a whim! ffs didn't make money on a whim did he? anyway had enough of this debate over past 8months! I shall carry on wearing blue and will watch them for one season in prem, then hang up my scarf the cost is to high in money terms now I have retired! :D
