Adkins sacked

I agree this is terrible for atkins but if we were in the same position next year IF we get promoted. How many cardiff fans do you think would call for malkys head????

My personnal opinion is there would be a few after looking at some of the statements made on here after the ipswich game

MM wont last one season if we are in the bottom four by january time but this all depends on what the malaysians spend on half a new team i would think, if they didnt spend big like saints didnt then you would have to feel for MM but thats modern football as we all know it

I bet Blackburn and Forest are kicking themselves although the way Blackburn goes through managers I expect to see Adkins employed before the window is out

Disgusted by this. I did have respect for Southampton as a club up until today but now I hope they get relegated back to league one or further down.

Southampton have been good this season in their first season, he's done wonders for them. Just think where they were when he took over. Shocking decision

Feel sorry for their fans ... not their fault the club is run by morons. Adkins got them playing some good football and their last twelve games resulted in only one defeat. WTF are they thinking? Deserves more respect for the success he's brought over the last two seasons. Hope we're patient with Malky if we make the Prem next season.
