Re: CARDIFF CITY PROMOTION WOULD THREATEN WELSH RUGBY

Since when was rugby alive?? All I see are fans coming out to watch wales when they were on the up. Any time the rugby team has another dip the team don't sell out...where are these fans when the regional teams play....sat at home watching soccer saturday with jeff and the boys!

Rugby has always been that thing they thing is big and hard to watch, but secretly they know more about the football teams.

If you look into it you see that if national sports are seen as those sports with the most represent players, then rugby is 3rd behind mens and womans football in wales...Now there's a kicking for the egg chasers!

Personally I don't mind watching a few games, and have been to the arms park a few times to watch the blues, good atmosphere and no bother.

But I can't be doing with 6 nation saturdays in town with every woman, child and beast out drinking, thinking they know everything about chasing the egg because they have a welsh flag stamped on there cheek and they're drinking cider!

I don't see much changing if we get promoted, think rugby will always have its conference level fan amounts and its had its day in the sun reguarding the national side.

Just wish football was hands down acknowledged as the national sport as it should be!

Rugby would do better if it was a summer sport

You're probably right, but speaking as someone who needed a knee operation at 16 years old after some fat f**ker flattened me into a dry and dusty summer pitch in Leicester on an end of season tour... I'll repectfully disagree
