Cech was forced into far more testing saves than Tremmel. Was Tremmel seriously tested? Cech I remember had to pull out at least 3 or 4 good saves. To say the sat back and defended would be incorrect.

Bullshit. The jacks offered nothing over 2 legs and got gifted 2 goals. Back from the game already roath?

What bullshit? That cech had to be forced into more good saves than Tremmel? Can you remind me if 1 save Tremmel had to make? :?

Said on radio 1 shot second half. Also 1st game 4 shots besides the 2 gifts! Been doing same for lots games this season, and they complain about us? They just give teams sleeping sickness so can score when defenders go asleep.

Chelsea were incredibly wasteful over 2 legs, especially at home where the jacks were battered but got gifted 2 goals. The keeper may not have done much tonight but that's because you defended so deep and in numbers, which was the point of the post. Can't blame you for defending your lead, but lets not pretend you didnt play for the draw tonight.

Guess you'll be banned again soon though :D

Defending in numbers is not a negative when in the same breath you also have the more and better chances, that's just a good team and sort of the premise of football.

Some odd comments.

Don't even bother having a go at me for voicing my opinion, isn't that what a message board is about?

I hope Bradford win, but Swansea have done well to get to the final - like us last year.

I, personally, don't care that much about them. I don't give a f**k what they do, as we're the biggest club in Wales!

Don't see why people get so worked up about them. Not even our biggest rival traditionally.

Err, it is when you do it for 180 mins. Didn't even win a corner in the 1st leg. Spin it all you want you rode your luck and got gifted the tie

I'm not praising them. I'm saying they did well to get through to the final, and fair play to them.

There's a difference.

I don't care about politics but I still moan about the government

No spin needed. Away from home swansea were looking for the draw, defended well and took both their chances clinically. Just as Chelsea did to Barca last year.

The home leg was to play it tight to defend the lead while also looking for the goal. Chelsea didnt have 1 good chance and Swansea had about 4.

Spot on and very well done to them, anything else is transparent bitterness. Sometimes you have to just doff your cap.

The Swans will be backed by a sold-out Liberty Stadium for their Capital One Cup semi-final second leg tie with Chelsea.
After a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge in the first leg, Michael Laudrup’s side are just one result from a dream Wembley final – and a potential first major cup final in the club’s 100-year history.
The travelling Jack Army were in fine voice again in London on Wednesday, cheering on the boys as goals from Michu and Danny Graham ensured it was a night to remember.
And the Liberty will be rocking once again on Wednesday, January 23 (7.45pm) after supporters snapped up the remaining tickets today for the tie as the Swans aim to write another chapter in the club’s history books by securing their place in the final of the competition.

Different name same rubbish from you roath. Here's one for starters, BA blazed over in the first half when he should have scored. So where's that in your "Chelsea didn't have 1 good chance".

See ya

Re: Congratulations Swansea City

So they deserved to beat Swansea because their player didnt even hit the target? :D

Now how about Dyer, Michu, Ki and Hernandez forcing good saves from cech?

Really, give it up. You have backed a loser here, throw away the ticket

It was a chance though. No worse than hitting a shot at the keeper. Whats the shot count over the two legs then gumbo?

How is that the same? If he hit the target then he's showing the ability to take the chance presented, if he doesn't then he doesn't deserve to score. Swansea had the better chances tonight by far, could have been 3-0 up at half time. Tremmel wasn't forced into one save really.

Shot count or good chance count? Good chance count is about 7-4 to Swans. Not sure why you want to count Lampards 35 yard tricklers for though.

No not really.

I actually genuinely feel sorry for you.

First off let me congratulate you on getting to the final youve beat some great teams to get there

but

now you face Bradford City from League 2

everyone in the country other than Swansea will be willing Bradford to win, from the football purists to the guy who put a tenner on them in the bookies before the game (I assume the odds would be pretty good). A League 2 team competing in Europe who would have ever believed it.

You should beat Bradford hands down Premier League v League 2 no contest.

If you win well youve beaten a League 2 team, its expected and the headlines will praise Bradford for a brave fight rather than congratulate you.

If you lose you lose to a League 2 team ultimate humiliation just like Arsenal had to endure except your humiliation will be in front of the world at Wembley that kind of fact tends to stick around.

All eyes will be on Bradford you being there is just a matter of fact. Bradford being in the final has equally ruined this final as much as it has raised its profile.

Good luck though.

Oh I see you decide what counts and what doesn't? You were battered in the 1st leg. And tonight you must have watched a different game to me as you were never close to being 3 up and the half time whistle came at the right time as Chelsea were dominating. It's ok though I know your little wind up games so don't take you seriously.
Wonder how long you'll last this time before the dreaded button is pushed :D
