What do you mean once again, Gwyn forgetting about people like you, I don't know who you are to forget you.

People around the age of 16-18 who have to pay £50+ for one away game.

I think most people realised my post was a generalisation, did you expect me to use different quotes for each category such as OAP, Disabled, Standard, Student, Child etc. It was just a post to try an encourage as much support as possible.

Welcome to the big bad world!

Well in this division thats the only club who charges that.. Even Bolton charged £9 and their ground is far more attractive and plus they have been in the prem for a few years.

Plus you have 2 yorkshire trips in the space of a week which would be quite hard for people to manage to break their wallet for both and Huddersfield looks more attractive as its a quite a new ground for some and some haven't been there for a while.

Also we have 6 games this month, if it was in August instead of Brighton or Bristol then we would sell a 1000 easy.

Only £50?!?!?! I normally spend double than that for an away game. Which is why I don't go to many away games.

when i say 200quid a week i was on about mates with a wifes and kids & morgage ect who are spending half there pay on FOOTBALL  , so if you go to two away games every two months thats £200 then for you if you spend double like you said but in two months you earn £680 thats 1/3 your wages on football thats without home games :malky:

Im not in that situation like others thats my point people can not afford football these days thats why they pick and choose when they go and where they go, clearly thats happening this season when you look at our away numbers we took certain teams, home games i can do all because im home in time for work if im working, away games i just carnt do as many as i would like unless its planned weeks in advance due to working weekend nights in most cases. :ayatollah:

Exactly, it's all well and good Gwyn posting threads like this but we all aren't as rich as Gwyn and cannot afford to go to every game like Gwyn can. If Gwyn want's us all to go to Leeds, maybe he should follow Vince's example and give us all discount to travel up on his coach. It's a great gesture by Vince and I hope this encourages a lot more to travel, I also hope Vince gets a lot more fans travelling with him because of this kind gesture and I'm sure he will. But instead of going to Leeds, I will be going to Huddersfield, Wolves and possibly a weekend away for Middlesbrough. For me it's not about whether I can afford it or not, it's whether I feel I am being ripped off and I shall not be giving in to over the top prices.

I'm going up on Saturday now, sorted it all out in the last 24 hours.

I do see why some people have second thoughts, but IF you can afford it then I'd encourage you to go. If not, then fair enough.

This will be my last match until Wolves, due to money.

I'd be surprised if we took 1k, I'd guess at between 500 and 600.. Maybe 700 at a push. It will be a good day out though, and a real party atmosphere if we win!

Like I say, not going to judge people for not going - alot of us had to choose between Leeds and Huddersfield due to money/work/etc.
