Ticket Office W###ers

Some of the posts on here are bollox to be fair. I have worked in telesales for 12+ years and have to put up with some right awkward feckers and have had some nightmare conversations over that time. One thing I have never done is put the phone down on someone. They are the customer spending money to go towards my sales target after all. I was handing over £400 of my money to them. To put the phone down on someone just cos I gave them a couple of preferable seats that were taken and was then asking for other seats in certain areas is fecking dire service. I was nothing but polite to the little spunkbubble. Couldn't care less if they were busy....no excuse.

They are fantastic given the shit they take off some people .
Try going behind there and doing there job trying to keep everyone happy
I know for a fact some of them read sites like this , how do you think it makes these young girls and boys working there (many in there first job and learning ) feel when they see threads like this ripping into them .
How many mistakes did you make in your first job or any new job ?
They are under pressure with thousands of calls off fans especially on days like today and they get callers who cant be assed looking or actually (KNOWING ) where they want to sit before ringing them which wastes their time and keeps other fans on hold for longer (cough cough remind you of anything)
The guys down there do a good job under difficult circumstances and we should thank Mona , angela , jo , and the other guys there for there help in everything they try to do for us not abuse them because they didnt answer a call within 20 mins and tickle your bellies for you .

Do you have a relative that works in the ticket office by any chance?

NO i dont but over the years have taken the time to get to know a lot of them quite well and they are really nice people who work hard for the fans and dont deserve the shit they get sometimes .
Im sure a few people on here like carl and annis would vouch for this .
