Quite simple really. Disgusting.

You do enough to turn people to red than Tan does

Any chance of debating opinions without getting personal?

I've said my bit and my opinion.
I'm not being personal just stating my opinion and that's you push people away from the blue camp with such nonsense.

IS THERE AN OFFER OF A BLUE SCARF?

CAN I TAKE THE RED SCARF AND GET A BLUE SCARF IN THE CLUB SHOP IN EXCHANGE?

IF THE ANSWER IS NO TO BOTH OF THE ABOVE THEN IT IS OBVIOUSLY VERY MANIPULATIVE MARKETING TO TRY AND FORCE THE COLOUR RED ON OUR FAN BASE.

Exactly! The rebrand has been embarassing enough as it is with no evidence backing up why the change to red will benefit us. Saturday's game is the game I have been dreading all season, US playing at home to our rivals Bristol City, in Bristol City's red colours! As if this isn't embarassing enough, they are now giving out red scarfs for this game, the timing couldn't be any worse! Why haven't they given out red scarfs at any other home game this season? It's as if VT is trying to pressure fans to "glorify" us wanting to be red like our local rivals Bristol City. The whole situation stinks, but that's typical VT for you. :(

Just buy one from the guys who sells pin badges by the Ninian Park train station.. he makes money and you get a blue scarf.. People are crying over nothing.

Why be suprised they would do this idea?

You get the scarf and can chuck it in the bin or whatever.

Bary Chuckle....I have watched your posts over time and quite frankly you are the most hypocritical poster I have come across.

On the one hand you always claim freedom of "opinion" but on the other you brush a gesture by MY CLUB as a "bribe", and consequently ridicule anybody who might actually be happy with what the rebrand has provided i.e.

Financial Stability

Managerial Stability

Managerial Staff Support Staff (second to none IMO)

Oh......and by the way.........a bloody good football team who work for each other and will never give up!

In my 33 years of supporting this fantastic club I have never seen the like......and I'm certainly not going to let a negative person like you scupper my enjoyment.

Enjoy wollowing in whatever pit you choose but please don't try and drag us happy people down with you.

God bless you :malky:

Oh the drama

If it was a gift, there'd be no need to try and coax people to wearing them with a substantial prize..

If you can't see that, then you're deluded.

Mr Chuckle.

Bribe?

Right, they want people to wear the red scarf, so that the media team can take photos to post to their facebook and IF you are seen wearing it etc etc and are the subject of their photograph on the site, they will enter you into a draw to win a season ticket.

Have you considered, that MAYBE you accept a red scarf, wear it, celebrate in it, but low and behold NOBODY sees you wearing it, therefore, you aren't posted onto the facebook page, and now have NO CHANCE of bbeing entered into this so called prize draw for season ticket refund.

So, even if you do accept it, you still may never go into the draw anyway.
I see this as a simple - get rid of all the excess red scarfs as they didn't sell as well as expected, but put a little prize on the end, at the same time, Tan gets an even more flooded red stadium for viewing on his malaysian tv chanel, fans get a (ltd edition) free scarf in a season that saw this badge for the one and only time.

It is down to the fan, if they want one, they'll take one, knowing they may not even get a photo wearing it.
If I am offered one, I will take one, not for me. I will probably give it to my 13yr old lad as he likes the red top. (hates the badge though!) I will still sing bluebirds, I will still wear blue, but I will always back my club no matter what.

Exactly, get the fans wearing red - just another cynical plot and to help them to wear it, entice them with a decent prize.

I for one completely agree with you Mr. Chuckle my worry is where will this end. Ive heard next season if you are not wearing red the club will send you off to 'corrective mind training' where you will truly learn the path of righteousness and envelop yourself into the red brotherhood.

Get a grip
if you dont want a scarf just politely say no thank you and carry on walking.

Can't believe what I'm reading here, 30/50 year olds arguing about receiving a scarf as a gift at a football game. Grow up ffs!! Either accept the scarf when it's handed to you, or just say "no thank you" and move along. No one is forcing you to do anything. :sleepy2:

 I can't believe you went to all the trouble of painting Whitts' shirt to red in your avatar    there are plenty of pics with him wearing a red shirt.
Everyone to their own I suppose.
Also can I say that I'm NO hypocrite, I do not like the rebrand as I have said on numerous occasions but I have reluctantly accepted it because I support Cardiff City and NOT the colour. May I also add that I am very grateful to VT for giving us the opportunity to be where we are, that is my opinion on the matter and if you feel that that makes me a hypocrite then so be it and for the record I will be cheering as loud as I can "when we get to the premier league" because I personally support Cardiff City, the Bluebirds and in no way a colour but that doesn't mean it makes me sad that we don't play in blue at home anymore :(
If you want to accept the red scarf as a gift then do so but if you don't then that's your prerogative and no one will lose any sleep over it whatever you choose.
Remember the scarf is a gift, you choose what you want.
If I'm offered one I will take it and give it to my granddaughter, it's no biggey for me.
