I have hered it said on here many times that Tan is in to deep to just leave but that is absolute nonsense.
Vincent Tan does NOT see Cardiff City as a business, its purely a toy, a play thing, Red is his colour, there is no other reason for it. This man is so far detatched from reality that he is talking of 'Malaysian Derby's'.
How much has Tan put in and how much would he stand to lose if he walked away? well it doesnt realy matter as it would be
water off a ducks back and a drop in the ocean to him.
People will come on here and give you all the propoganda in the world about how Vincent Tan is an honorable man etc etc and Malaysians dont like to fail and it would be seen as failure if he walked away, absolute tripe.
We should have taken the hit. Admin and come back from whatever may have come but as it goes Cardiff City as we new died
the day Vincent Tan got involved.

I agree that a load of the 'new fans' would likely be first to up and leave if we
were to get relegated etc.
But your post loses credibility with this reference to Tan and the "Malaysian Derby"
The bloke was obviously just talking about a fellow Malaysian Club owner in the
same division to fellow Malaysian businessmen. Just typified some of the sad bias
on here sometimes that an offhand harmless remark like that can take on epic
proportions. Why do you believe THAT version of events yet turn your nose up at
the idea he could be an honourable man? See... its perception. You perceive all
things Malaysian to be wrong... why? PROPAGANDA!
WORKS BOTH WAYS!

Taffy
Its not a perception its a fact.
Tan isn't honorable, he proved that when he went ahead with the re-brand contrary to his statement after the initial shock.
f**k knows how can you say I perceive all things Malaysian to be wrong either. What a ridiculous thing to say. I have visited the country twice and loved it.
Tan however is another matter
I am slowly watching him turn our club into a circus, one that it obviously doing well in the league at the moment and that is quite obviously enough for some, but a circus all the same.
We will have to agree to disagree and see what the future brings........

As far as I am aware the rebrand went ahead due to the level of support that was shown after the explosion that occurred on two message boards. I haven't so far seen anything that demonstrates Mr Tan is in any way dishonourable. Pre and post the re-brand the investment in the club/team has been unprecedented. I would guess that a number of issues have arisen due to the ineptitude of the local club staff.
