I have hered it said on here many times that Tan is in to deep to just leave but that is absolute nonsense.

Vincent Tan does NOT see Cardiff City as a business, its purely a toy, a play thing, Red is his colour, there is no other reason for it. This man is so far detatched from reality that he is talking of 'Malaysian Derby's'.

How much has Tan put in and how much would he stand to lose if he walked away? well it doesnt realy matter as it would be
water off a ducks back and a drop in the ocean to him.

People will come on here and give you all the propoganda in the world about how Vincent Tan is an honorable man etc etc and Malaysians dont like to fail and it would be seen as failure if he walked away, absolute tripe.

We should have taken the hit. Admin and come back from whatever may have come but as it goes Cardiff City as we new died
the day Vincent Tan got involved.

Ffs yes he will walk away and put 40odd mil loss down to experience?
And admin are you 100% sure thats what would have happened if he hadnt put money in?
If you are i'm glad your not my financial advisor! I would be bankrupt now.

I agree that a load of the 'new fans' would likely be first to up and leave if we
were to get relegated etc.

But your post loses credibility with this reference to Tan and the "Malaysian Derby"

The bloke was obviously just talking about a fellow Malaysian Club owner in the
same division to fellow Malaysian businessmen. Just typified some of the sad bias
on here sometimes that an offhand harmless remark like that can take on epic
proportions. Why do you believe THAT version of events yet turn your nose up at
the idea he could be an honourable man? See... its perception. You perceive all
things Malaysian to be wrong... why? PROPAGANDA!

WORKS BOTH WAYS!

Taffy

Its not a perception its a fact.

Tan isn't honorable, he proved that when he went ahead with the re-brand contrary to his statement after the initial shock.

f**k knows how can you say I perceive all things Malaysian to be wrong either. What a ridiculous thing to say. I have visited the country twice and loved it.

Tan however is another matter

I am slowly watching him turn our club into a circus, one that it obviously doing well in the league at the moment and that is quite obviously enough for some, but a circus all the same.

We will have to agree to disagree and see what the future brings........ ;)

Fair one.

My perception is this:

If he hadnt fucked up over this rebrand. If we were still playing in blue with the old
badge (or even reddish with blue AND the badge)

What else could people point a finger at and say "f**k me look at those clowns!"

See, apart from the rebrand, we have...

Brilliant manager
Brilliant squad
Brilliant backroom staff
We dont SELL players out of necessity.
We CAN buy players we want
We have an excellent ground
We look like its going to become at least a 30,000 seater very soon
PMG have been marginalised and are no longer pulling the strings
The Cardiff Blues are gone (hip-hip f*cking hooray   )
We have sorted out most of the historic debt
We are starting to attract interested parties re: investment

Downside... Well Langstone hasnt been paid off yet, cos then we'd be home free. But THAT is
all about perception too. Some say we should stop f*cking them about and pay Sam what he is owed,
some say "f**k that, he's f*cking us about, lets see how brave he is when the Court Case is approaching

Overall? Circus? I cannot agree with that. This kit and badge need sorting out properly
sooner rather than later and unless I've been duped, the EMail I had suggests Tan has
accepted he's made a f**k up and is looking to redress it.

We've been a circus for the last ten years, a proper laughing stock. Sell sell sell, give
Ramsey away, stick Kavanagh on that helicopter quick or the electric will be switched
off. Ridsdale in his Aston Martin, Sam with his "gimme £500k or i wont go!"

Apart from the change of colour, there are a lot of envious eyes looking at the way
Cardiff City is being run. Pompey, Blackburn, Bolton, Forest, Burnley, Leeds... I
daresay they would all swop the muppets running their Cubs for Tan (bar rebranding)

As far as I am aware the rebrand went ahead due to the level of support that was shown after the explosion that occurred on two message boards. I haven't so far seen anything that demonstrates Mr Tan is in any way dishonourable. Pre and post the re-brand the investment in the club/team has been unprecedented. I would guess that a number of issues have arisen due to the ineptitude of the local club staff.

Exactly where the 'dishonourable' claims fall flat. The vast majority of our supporters
have accepted the rebrand and even embraced it. So again 'dishonourable' is a perception
but not one held by the bulk of the fan base.

In my eyes we've had far more dishonourable tricks done on this Club in the past. Its no
coincidence that Tan walked in here and did pretty much what he wanted... it was as a
DIRECT result of dishonourable behaviour by previous owners
