Dont be so naive.

You think stoke give a f**k about us rebranding? They dont know, couldnt give a f**k, only know us from old, when we turn up at the brittaniare, i bet any person on this message board, they'll give us the same welcome as they always have, and they wont be giving out free red scarves.

Re: Football violence in the prem, get ready.

Jama, I'm sorry but you sound like someone desperate to hold on to any sort of identity or traditions this club ever had. Even though everyone knows that has long since dissolved also.

Do you honestly think stoke supporters don't now we have rebranded? Do you think anyone in the prem is unable to process any information from any leagues outside it? Does that mean the vast majority of Cardiff fans will have no idea who Robin van Persie is? Or that he has signed for Man United? Do you think none of us have any idea Liverpool have just been knocked out of Europe?

Football violence is dead through out Britian and everyone seems to be pretty pleased by it. The fact this is the only identity some of our fans feel they have left to cling on to is desperately sad. Genuinely too, not a patronising "sad". It just shows whats left of the club we all used to love.

Clubs are genuinely feeling sorry for us yet we seem to be loving the changes. It's embarrassing.

Ok, what type of welcome did we get at bolton? I was there, murder with the stewards, the old boys helping out our younger fans. A prem side who just came down. Bolton is not regarded imo as a trouble fixture. Terrible. Why?

Answers on a postcard.

Ok well you wear your helmet to the matches then while others point and laugh, the last thing we need is another reason to be laughed at by the opposition.

Move on.

Your being naiive to think Stoke are going to have a go at us. The perception of our club is happy clappy, red scarf wearing family club on par with Reading. Much has been documented in the media about how well behaved we all are now. For gods sake your making out the Premier league is like the battle of the Somme.

You didnt answer the question.

I am fully aware that football violence, as we used to know it is dead, but to think it still dosent go on because the prem led meda dos'nt show it ( why would they its their brand) is imo naive.

I am not condoning football violence, i just dont want a few of our newer fans to be caught up in any trouble over our past reputatiion.

Liverpool at Wembley last season and the emirates a few seasons before that even last season in the FA Cup, Pompey at Wembley too. How much trouble to the premier league fans give us? Nothing.

That bit of noncense at bolton was caused by aggresive stewarding. I was at the back of the stand, i wasn't murders at all.

What about the recording you thick retard. I was at chelsea and there was plenty of punches thrown. Probably more then at any of your games for the past 20yrs. Not exactly known for it are you jacks. But your right when you say the 2 mobs got done by the old bill.

Thats what i said. Aggresive stewards. Murders was a turn of phrase.

Maybe the ccfc rebrand hadnt got through to our bolton freinds?

Im sure places like everton and their fans will be well aware, but maybe not.

there is a lot of idiots amongst the youth of today, bound to be some lemons daft enough to go fighting when in the prem if we get there, new fans jump on board and think they are apart of green street! hardcore bastards :malky: :malky:

Lets face it cardiff are well known for smashing and jumping around but doing very little.
And you get bannd for that.. :?

Re: Football violence in the prem, get ready.

You have a point. Some fans at other clubs still have the mental image of Cardiff fans from all the events of years gone by. (ignore the dyslexic gypo as usual trying to hijack a thread looking for a bite.)

There will be clubs in the premiership out there looking to have a pop if we go up. Chelsea did, and Arsenal did.
And Wolves will Sunday.
Whether your red or blue, plastic, spastic or fantastic. They wont care.

Its like an illness with you isn't it. so in your opinion who have Cardiff actually "done" in the last 40 years?

While your there, what is it that Swansea are known for?

FV is dead, gone, expired, finito. at least Cardiff did have a name whilst you never did and never will.

lets hope that should Cardiff get up (i'm still not confident) that there are no problems.

No wonder they want to scrap GCSE's. They're clearly not working.

FV is a lot bigger in the prem than people think, it's brushed under the carpet. The jacks saying we have had
No trouble etc like I have said before why would you? No one gives a shit about you your nothing. Many of the clubs hate us mark my words the following games cardiff will get a slap, because to many groups travell now who think There lads and have had it easy. Walk round Manchester, Everton, Newcastle, Chelsea, west ham, stoke, spurs on a cold Tuesday night, it's the big boys now, few years ago cardiff could have done ok now we will get smashed. Not are real lads just all the ones who walk round taking photos on Facebook thinking there something. Remember these places are rough as f**k make cardiff look luxury. And those sides have serious mental mobs that still turn out when they want to. Don't take them
For granted. They have all wanted a pop at cardiff over the years and it will be there chance.

Agree with all this mate and unfortunately it will be the regular shirts and scarves Cardiff fans who will cop it. Not many Premier firms will want to risk taking on the Cardiff Lads, home or away, after what they saw happened at Chelsea. Just my opinion.

I always travel with several mates by train for away games and expect a few issues next season. The teams mentioned above will be foaming at the mouth to get at 'the taffs' as they call it. Man U have been wanting Cardiff for a while and it gets mentioned on their forum from time to time. The St Mary's street incident just added to it :ayatollah: ...will certainly be keeping my wits about me next season in (should we get there).

I hope some of the young wannabees get the shit put right up em next season.

Theres a few on this messageboard alone who need a good f*cking hiding.

Re: Football violence in the prem, get ready.

Fri Feb 22, 2013 1:36 pm

The harsh punishments for what happened at Chelsea were because even then we were a club pushing for PL football, and the police wanted to send a message to our fans and fans of other clubs that would turn out big for Cardiff that they aren't going to get away with it. And it's worked.

Cardiff don't have any "lads" anymore, if we did we would have seen widespread trouble in this division where you are more likely to get away with it. You are clinging on to a distant past.

Just to make it clear mate I didn't say cardiff would do f**k all, I don't put us in the top 20
Firms in the country. There will be games
Where lads go but orginozation is wank so or means only 10 end up getting involved and smashed or it means f**k all
Happens.

It's aimed more at groups of cardiff who go away thinking there lads. Which we have many of. Wait till they bump into the big boys.....
