The whole 'independance for Wales' arguement is the SOLE reason that I will never vote Plaid. Wales only survives off EU Objective 1 funding. Wales cannot be self sufficient, there would be no jobs, no economy and the country would be run into the ground by fools like Iean Wyn Jones and Elfun Llwyd.

Clegg was in a no win situation last night. After his shock increase in popularity he set his own bar to such a height that he could only go down in people's opinions. I agree, the Trident issue is bad but so many people oppose their views on this that even if they get into power it won't go through. Even Liberal Democrats object to it. Clegg is just stating it's something that should be considered, not definitely pushed through.

Cameron was always going to have a good debate. His backroom staff (as I call them!) would have critically analysed the last one inside out and done what they always do and turn Cameron into what people want to see, not what he is. Cameron is a robot and will say whatever is needed to be said, even if it's not true. No time for him and don't trust him at all.

Brown, I feel sorry for. He lacks so much charisma that these televised debates were basically designed to screw him over. I just wish he'd take Labour back to their old ways and then maybe, just maybe they could still win.

For now though, it's a hung parliament and that's how it will stay I reckon.

If Cameron gets into power, there'll be riots again like there was last time.

The laws the Tories will put into place will cripple the regular joe and benefit the rich bastards. It's bullshit.

I wasn't alive at the time the Tories were in power (with Thatcher), but I've read news stories and heard stories. Bad times.

my problem with labour is that the last election you voted blair and got brown and their biggest crime was promising a referendum on europe and not keeping that promise.
i notice again last night all the new promises coming out again which none of them have any intention of keeping.

i left school did an apprenticeship and was a member of a trade union and voted labour.
12 years ago i started my own business and still work 7 days a week and now my workforce think im some sort of tory toff.
You always get slaughtered in this country for trying to do well for yourself and will always get targeted by all parties for taxes.

the simple facts of life here is that the rich people employ the poor or less well off people.
To me i look at labour now and see a watered down tory party look at the blairs and kinnocks socialists my arse look at the wealth blair is accumulating as a reward for backing the yanks in their illegal war against iraq and the way the kinnocks have jumped on the euro gravy train.

i havent made my mind up who to vote for yet but would say to the three of them "what about wales and scotland " why no mention of our countries yet.

I don'tnow the stats but I would imagine the vast majoity of immigrants during Labours tenure have come from the old Eastern European countries (Poland etc etc) that joined the EU. Nothing that could be done about it because the EU constitution change and allowed the free movement of workers around the member countries.

Now, if your gripe is about people coming over and taking the jobs from British people, these people are doing the jobs that "our" people will not get out of bed to do for the money on offer (i.e. your office cleaners etc,etc) an contribute to our economy. While "Our" people prefer to stay in bed til Jeremy Kyle then get on the white lightening paid for by your humble tax payer.
