It is also worth considering that season tickets are good value as they work out at something like £14 a game. Walk up is £27 a game so in theory you can miss nearly 50% of games and still be no worse off!
With the change in working patterns coupled with early and late kick-off times some fans obviously think its worth buying a season ticket and then choosing their games.
Personally I would consider that a successful policy rather than one that needs change.
As you know , my working pattern was changed and I can't make mid-week games (altho I've now got it sorted for play-off home game). BUT , if I could only make some weekend games instead of all , then what would I do ? Missing midweek is ok , as my ST has been used , but if I had to miss some week-ends too then I'd have to re-evaluate. I'd probably still buy , to help club , to ensure I got my ticket and to be with with you and the others for games
Are you going back on 4 on 4 off Gary? BTW good news about the play-off mate I think we will come down to Canton for the away leg?

With the price on season tickets I cannot understand why so many would turn up wek in week out, I know fans go on hloiday during the season and others may work certain weekends but for these numbers to be missing each home game is just not right.
For 2080 seats to be empty at a debry match in which the tickets are already paid for is astonishing, I know of people who did not attend but gave their tickets to friends to enjoy the match but this is over 2000 tickets every game not being used.
The club are mystified with this situation as well, the club has obviously had the money for the tickets but are missing out on other revenue ie. food, drinks, club shop.etc.
I know that some fans came to the stadium at the beginning of the season and no longer turn up because they do not like the atmosphere at CCS but again I would be surprised if this accounted for the numbers we are talking about here.
Do you know of any reason for these fans not to turn up as the club are keen to know themselves.
