I can understand season ticket holders missing some games but I think something should be done before next season. If we get promoted i can only see it getting worse as more people will get season tickets just to watch the so called 'big games' or just want a trip to wembley(if we get there). We dont want to sell 22,000 season tickets for only 15,000 people turn up and be turning people way.

I think the club should put something in place, so the season ticket holders that cant make the game can sell in on, viagogo seatwave etc or set up something like you have got to sign for your ticket through e ticket, email, phone etc at least a week before the game otherwise the club can sell your seat on and give you vouchers or refund.

It is also worth considering that season tickets are good value as they work out at something like £14 a game. Walk up is £27 a game so in theory you can miss nearly 50% of games and still be no worse off!

With the change in working patterns coupled with early and late kick-off times some fans obviously think its worth buying a season ticket and then choosing their games.

Personally I would consider that a successful policy rather than one that needs change.

As you know , my working pattern was changed and I can't make mid-week games (altho I've now got it sorted for play-off home game). BUT , if I could only make some weekend games instead of all , then what would I do ? Missing midweek is ok , as my ST has been used , but if I had to miss some week-ends too then I'd have to re-evaluate. I'd probably still buy , to help club , to ensure I got my ticket and to be with with you and the others for games

Are you going back on 4 on 4 off Gary? BTW good news about the play-off mate I think we will come down to Canton for the away leg?

There are rumours of shift changes , but in all honesty I'd keep my ST to be with you and the others. I like our analytical scrutinisation of performances , and nobody calls a linesman a wanker as good as you !!!!
I suggested Canton for away leg , the Corpa is ok if we get there early enough for seats !!!

With the price on season tickets I cannot understand why so many would turn up wek in week out, I know fans go on hloiday during the season and others may work certain weekends but for these numbers to be missing each home game is just not right.

For 2080 seats to be empty at a debry match in which the tickets are already paid for is astonishing, I know of people who did not attend but gave their tickets to friends to enjoy the match but this is over 2000 tickets every game not being used.

The club are mystified with this situation as well, the club has obviously had the money for the tickets but are missing out on other revenue ie. food, drinks, club shop.etc.

I know that some fans came to the stadium at the beginning of the season and no longer turn up because they do not like the atmosphere at CCS but again I would be surprised if this accounted for the numbers we are talking about here.

Do you know of any reason for these fans not to turn up as the club are keen to know themselves.

carl living in bristol with no car is a pain in the ass for getting to watch the city ive not seen a midwek game this season with work cometiments too i think ive also missed about 4 sat games also because of works thats life i surpose....

Personally, I've missed a few games this season.
Living in Bath and not having a car, its very hard to go to mid week games. The last train from Cardiff is at 10pm, which means if I do go to a midweek game, I have to leave a few minutes early, and then rush to central station.
Also, being in Uni means I sometimes have coursework deadlines or exams. And as I compete for the University Lifesaving Club, I sometimes am elsewhere in the country on a weekend anyway.

Even saying all that though, 2000 per game does sound high.
Just wondering where are those numbers from? Because at least the attendance announced on the day includes season tickets.
