I believe that we should always field the strongest team possible.

I think it's a non-issue as we will stuff whoever we meet in the play-offs

I hope your right Tony, The players in the last 5 weeks have started to believe they were unbeatable

it was well documented in the press ,that he was going to field a second team. So I suspect many of the 2,300 fans would have known. Whilst I agree with your point on keeping the run going. I truly believe giving the players a break will make a Huge difference in them being less tired, also good to keep them nice and Fresh for the playoffs.
Just My opinion.

yesterday cost me a wunner with tickets and travel, but was happy with DJ's choice. we would have all been on his back had any of our first 11 picked up a knock or a card.
yes a win would have kept up the run but our first 11 wouldnt look at it like that, i dont think they didnt lose the second team did (hahaha sound like the manks second team).
not nice to lose but most went up in the belief that was going to happen, cei la vie,
at the end of the day Que sera, sera

Seeing as there were 9 changes from the Sheffield Wednesday game, I believe that most of the players will still think they are unbeatable. I honestly don't think resting them will be an issue

Sorry Annis but I have to disagree with you. Yesterday DJ made the correct decision and did not risk our key players, plus they had a much-needed rest.
Lets cross our fingers and hope we win the play offs, we certainly have a team capable of doing it.

Had some time to think about this now and my conclusion is that i dont think it will have an iota of a difference. Basically our backbone team was out. Adding to that we lost to 2 very good goals. We created some chances as well. Some will say it showed we are weak in depth but lets get real, we are not a Man U set up. I dont think we have anything to worry about.
It was a good day yesterday. The only tense moment was the annoucement of the team. We all expected but when you witness it then its still a shock. However the shock was short lived and we all accepted it and decided to get on with having a good day.

The momentum wont be lose because the players who will come back in will have that winning feeling and its just as important those fringe players got some time incase they are needed. If we had lost a key player against Derby it would have been a disaster.
