I Played Egg as my school did'nt even allow a football at breaktime.
Got taken down the City for the Real Madrid game at the age of 9 and that was it.
I can remember playing Egg for my comp ( was'nt bad at the game in fairness. got to county level, but the shit that went with the game, realy p****ed me off) And they were all going on the Lash as a team bond. Nah I said "City got Carlisle today and Sabbath are in Bristol , so i''ll pass " got looked at as if i was an alien.

Always March to a different beat :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

In fairness Sardis Rd pre regions mid-week against an English team could be a good atmos.

Not a spangly hat in sight

Like many others within South Wales was 'forced 'to play rugby at school ,but at the same time enjoyed many other sports which of course involved playing football nearly every single day .....Around 16 got hooked following the City after hearing off the older Port Talbot lads their tales of trips following the Bluebirds .Port Talbot seemed to 'produce' loads of the same mindset around that time and friendships gained then still remain strong to this day .Following the Bluebirds is an addiction to me ,a lifelong' love 'affair .Nothing has compared to the many games and trips that has created that certain buzz .......Rugby breeds old stlye attitudes within the community ,talent becomes lost due to the brain washing of the egg !.....

Yes played rugby since the age of 8 and made loads of great friends. I also used to watch Pontypridd home and away. But what made me turn to football is the Pub when I took over we had Sky Sports and the lads were all talking about football so I thought I'd go down the City, havent looked back since. But I will be honest I do sometimes miss playing rugby not going to lie to you. at the end of the day thats up to me. Cant see the big deal in Liking the 2 sports. But I can see why rugby gets on people titts is because of the joking fans when Wales play. Well the truth is it also does the Proper rugby peoples heads in aswell lol.

The only time I watch rugby is when Wales play in the six nations, or the world cup. It doesn't interest me otherwise.
