No I don't agree, 1st goal was a one off, last goal they came through to easy like the 2nd goal

To me that was shocking, any club that gives away two goals against a poor West Brom team in eight minutes are always going to be on the back foot and the odds were always going to be stacked against us to get those three points.

My biggest worry is,yes we can score goals but we certainly know how to concede sloppy ones and the defence in my opinion has not improved one bit and has actually got worse and that is going to be Ole's downfall.

I thought for the first 30 minutes we were clueless all over the pitch and thankfully some could say a wonder goal others might say different but Mutch's goal put us right back in it, I have always said going in at half time to get yourself back in the game is everything and fair play somehow we had managed it, I had been dreading if they had scored the third.

For the first time in months, I feel David Marshall had a nightmare of a game, he was responsible for their first goal and after a great equaliser by Stephen Caulker, Marshall was totally to blame for West Brom's third.

Just a few players I am going to mention, Zaha's moments of brilliance but once again only in patches, I thought Bellamy was everywhere without achieving anything, Campbell was everywhere as he usually is but no end product, Gunnarsson was well below par.

To me Daehli who only played 45 minutes of the game was my man of the match not just for his great goal which made it 3-3 in the dying seconds and sent the City fans into raptures but I felt he kept opening up the game and his passing and his runs were all spot on, it took a youngster to drive the team forward. :ole:

I feel a lot of those players need to look at themselves and Ole needs to sort that defence out ASAP otherwise we are going down, it is well and truly out of our hands, six games left and we have to win at least three or four games to stay, can it be done ? Personally to me it looks impossible but as City fans we have always got to believe until it is impossible.

We have to beat Crystal Palace, Stoke, Sunderland and Southampton or Newcastle and still hope that other teams mess up, our fans were amazing today and they are the ones who deserved the equaliser to make it 3-3 :bluescarf:

Fair play to Ole, when he came over at the end I loved seeing the passion and heart in him and the care he showed towards us but is that enough to keep us up?

Ole mentioned the fans on Sky Sports :ayatollah: Annis i honestly believe in Ole's way of playing we just need to give him time whether it will be in the premier or championship next season we will have some great football to watch :thumbright:

Yes plenty of goals, but if we score the oposition will score as many or on most occasions more, so at that ratio, we can only go down and that means failure and come May if Ole fails, City's attendances will be at least 10,000 down next season and we will be a Championship side thanks to Ole's exciting football but terrible tactics which win no prizes at the end of it and that's what really matters in football, a fact.

Ole has also yet to get even a point of a top 10 team , where as nearly all the other teams in the bottom half can get points and many have beaten top 10 teams. Also I can never forget the Swansea and Hull humiliations . Top bloke Ole, nice genuine man, very passionate but sadly way out of his depth in the Premier League.

Medel was to blame if anyone for first goal - awful header put us under pressure. Gunnar should've gone off earlier and we should've gone to back four earlier but much improved in second half.

Daehli made a real difference and the spirit was good. Equaliser was bedlam in the away end!

It was never in doubt for me, I know it's a cliche but we're too good to go down. We absolutely bossed Norwich today who are supposed to be a bogey side.

That equaliser for you at the end keeps you alive for now but I don't think you can stay up when you're conceding the number of goals you are to be honest.

I believe that there is only one thing the manager can do that really has an effect besides buying new player, that is giving the players self confidence.

What we see under Ole is a fighting spirit i haven`t seen for a very long time. He has really made these guys believe that they can win matches. Even at 2-5 against Liverpool they kept pushing up the field and fought to come back from a hopeless situation. 3-5 and they ran back to the midfield to start the game and go for 4-5.

I love the passion the lads are showing under him but the defence is worrying. But something had to be sacrifised so we can score goals. The days where we had 9 behind the ball and Campbell alone at the other half is gone. It wasn`t effective enough and the players showed that they didn`t believe anymore.

I really want us to stay in the PL but the realistic side of me says we just aint good enough. It shows again and again that confidence get you somewhere cause we score goals. But confidence cannot make up for lack of experience in the back and lower quality than our opponents.

Our defence was just as shit under Malky as it is under Ole the stats say so

Today was the 12th league match with OGS in charge of the team and we have collected 8 of the 36 points available, scoring 14 goals, conceding 29 goals, failing to score in 6 games and keeping 1 clean sheet.

In MM last 12 games in charge we collected 9 of the 36 points available, scoring 7 goals, conceding 21 goals, failing to score in 6 games and keeping clean sheets in 2 games.

So when Annis says we have a shocking defence you can sort of see where he is coming from. But one thing is certain we are carrying far more goal threat under OGS than we ever were under MM.

:ole: :bluescarf:

What people are missing on those stats is that in Malky's last 12 games we scored 1 goal to every 3 conceded :o
Under OGS we have scored 1 goal to every 2 conceded.
So to those who think we would have stayed up under MM I say Bullshit ;)

Malky until Tan hammered him always had a mean defence and u have to admit Ole is clueless regarding our defence, honesty please :bluescarf:

Malky had a lunatic at him 24/7, before Oct last year how was it then? Ole has no pressure on him.

I agree Malky was under a lot of pressure from the lunatic Annis but he also drew a lot of support from that fact. Whichever way you look at it we were relegation fodder under MM and its going to take a miracle to survive

  This is a bitter, bitter thread.

Malky had a set back four, then put Whitts in to cover the left back, Cowie or Beller to cover the right back, medel to cover the centre halfs. Leaving frazier and Mutch to score all the open play goals ... Open play goals, go on count them under malky.

Its always been a championship defence......

I loved malky, but he is gone and continually reminiscing and sugar coating the reality really doesn't help anyone.

We had last years team and added medel and caulker then a few panic buys. In hindsight it was never enough

Ole is our man, well until the next one.

Malky had Tan in his ear but surely Malky was still picking the side and leaving the likes of Noone and Bellamy out.

Bellamy was injured then and had family problems.

Craig Noone, I was shocked he never played enough, yet Malky chased after him for a long time to finally sign him.

Bellamy was fine at villa away, so was Noone. We really should have went for it at them away games.

Malky would rather play cowie or whitts on the wing than noone :?
