Equating family and shirt colour. What utter childishness. Do you live in Narnia?

Im not equating anything. I simply asked you a question.

A football club is a big part of many peoples lives, not just a £50 shirt. To suggest otherwise is just sheer stupidity.

What if your kids want alcohol? Dont mean they got to have it.

It was a slight on his statement. I was interested.

Apart from that, your example is very funny. Alcohol for under 18's is illegal. How on earth is that in anyway similar to buying clothes.

Buying that red shirt should be illegal too. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Agree totally. But some people do take the whole thing too seriously. It should never be as big a part of peoples lives.

There must be families out there that do not see family members while they are in work midweek and then don't see them on the weekend until they rise around midday on Sunday after just returning in the early hours from the other side of the country.

Get some perspective, it saves on the stress as well. :D

If the club is such a big part of peoples lives (and I do not dispute that) then why not all get 100% behind the club?

Instead of all the wasted energy and bickering over the said £50 shirt, the true supporters should care more about the performance and continuation of their club.

I frankly do not care whether the shirt is red, blue, or whatever. Certainly not to the extent of defacing the old Ninian park gates.

Is it so really important that CCFC must play in blue?

I dont think so. Nobody is killing anyone over it, people are reacting the way the should be reacting.

People spend thousands a year following their side. If you bought a nice £10,000 car and I decided to paint it another colour and you got mad... It would be pretty silly of me to say "you are taking it way too serious".

People are emotionally and financially invested in a football club, it takes up a major part of their lives and memories. To be so blasé about it to the point where someone can some in and do what he likes to it is sad in my opinion.

Re: BAD NEWS

Only one language this fella understands, just don't buy it and if the kids want a shirt, which is understandable buy the blue or yellow

Then that would be a criminal act and you would be rightly prosecuted for it.

Re branding the colour of a clubs football shirt has not yet been made a criminal offence no matter how many disagree.

Tan is keeping CCFC afloat (so far) and is entitled to change/re brand.

Having said that I would trust the man and his entourage as much as I ever trusted Hammam, (which is zilch).

So your emotional compass is whether it is legal or not? :?

Certainly not.
I have made my view on the shirt colour perfectly clear. A view that you do not seem able to comprehend.

I do not care whether you agree with me or not. but some of the pettiness written here is jaw dropping.

It was a statement with a musing whimsical tone.

You would be pissed off if I repainted your car, the fans are rightly pissed off that tan repainted their club.

Yes

If no-one bought the red the rebrand would have been over after 1 season. The reds are the cancer of Cardiff City.

Changing the badge is not as drastic as changing the colours is it.

Well it is very, very easy, but the appetite is not there for it be it because of the expense of the ST, the belief that you need to at least support the team or the red hatred does not stretch to a boycott.

I wonder what sort of numbers we could count on if call was put out to leave ST's unused so the club could not re sell the tickets?
