Cardiff City Official Site
The reality of the difference between Premier League and Football League fixture calendars hit home this week, as Cardiff City took in back to back Saturday / Tuesday home games for the first time this season.
It's something as supporters we're all used to of course, while Ole's squad also showed how quick they were to recover between matches - the wins over Huddersfield Town and Wigan Athletic very well received by all connected to Cardiff City.
City's home crowds so far
We know that it's not always easy to make it to back to back Football League games and that a good number of City fans are currently away on family holidays; so to reach over 20,000 for both games at this time of year was very much appreciated. When everyone is home and with some wins under our belt, we're sure to see those numbers rise.

Cardiff 'will take some stopping' - Wolves boss

Jackett is predicting a difficult game against a vibrant Cardiff side
Wolves manager Kenny Jackett knows his side are in for a tough test as they prepare to take on Cardiff City at Molineux tomorrow.
Wolves have made a bright start to life back in the Championship, and have already recorded victories over two of the sides relegated from the Premier League last season, Norwich and Fulham.
Cardiff are the third of that trio, and Jackett believes that the Welshmen will provide a stern test for his players.
"Cardiff will be bigger, stronger and more powerful than Fulham and they will have more established players than a Fulham side that in the end had six players or 21 and under," he said.
"It would be great to get that third win because it looks a very tight division already. But I’d suggest that Cardiff with their strength in depth and experience will take some stopping."
Cardiff have added a number of players to their squad over the summer, including the recent signing of former Norwich man Anthony Pilkington, and Sean Morrison, who joined from Reading.
Jackett added: "It will be a different type of test in that Cardiff are really strong in every area, when you consider they took Morrison from Reading for £3m then Anthony Pilkington from Norwich – it just shows they’re continually looking to strengthen all the time.
“They’re both experienced, good Championship players who have done very well in this league and both have played Premier League games as well. Looking right through their side, they’re a very good team and you wouldn’t bet against them being right up there at the end."

Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett will pick from the same squad that beat Fulham 1-0 in midweek.
Captain Sam Ricketts is likely to start on the bench again, as he waits for his first league appearance of the season.

Connolly - Hudson - Morrison - Fabio
Whittingham - Adeyemi - Gunnarsson
Le Fondre - Maynard - Pilkington
Or Pilkington to the right and Maynard to the left with Le Fondre in the middle. Looks a bit like Blackburn away.

Weird team. No brayford, Jones and Daehli and Connolly on right back?

4-3-3 away from home is brave (or madness).
More likely a straight 4-4-2. With Pilkington swapping wings.

Same as Blackburn away, although it turned out to be just as much 4-5-1.

Bobby Woodruff's long throw wrote:Is Daehli injured?
He is long overdue a rest and is on the bench like he should have been in the last game.
You can't expect to match a 19 yr old this hard.

Adeyemi centre for Cardiff, Gunnarsson and Whitts either side of him

Wolves have set up in their usual 4-2-3-1 formation v Cardiff

4-3-3 is my favourite formation, it's more balanced than people make it to be. Adeyemi being that emergency guy if a team counters

Terrific run from right back position by Connolly almost gives him an opportunity at goal by Stearman clears well. #Wolves 0-0 #City
