when I worked in cardiff the place I worked in had a lot of gays and lesbians ( an advice centre for benefits, housing , etc ) and we would often go to the kings cross for a pint on a friday after work

its didnt bother me , there were some sexy looking women in there ..a lot of hen parties woukld go in there ..they would feel safe ..anyway we sometimes would go to minskys for a lugh later

and guess who one night was in there ith his boyfriend ?

the lad from our school who always said he hated gays

the point I am making is dont worry about them , because although it can sometimes be a bit offputting , its not a problem aor the end of the world and people who go on and on about not being gay or hating gays or saying its unnatural are often covering things up

just dont worry about it

( not anybody on here I might add before I get shot )

Just wondering if this theory works for all situations, for instance is it possible for someone who constantly defends immigration to be in reality a raving racist? ;)

Apparently you can get 'anti-gayness' tablets in america now, to help you through that illness. Good news for potential 'uphill gardeners' everywhere!!

I found out my older brother was gay about 28 yrs ago, i kicked shit out of him and his
boyfriend. Luckily, over the years he forgave me, and though I'm not an advocate of
homosexuality, like Sludge said, there are a lot worse human beings than gays in this world.
Two gay parents (for instance) would be far better for poor little kids than baby P or the
other little mites murdered by the scum of the earth cunts around today.

However, here's a dilemma.

When my boy was about 6 he'd written a note to his 'mate' in school telling him he loved
him. I laughed, but sat him down and gently explained to him that you dont 'love' your mates
even if the person had been a girl. He grew up to be a strapping 6ft 1" Royal Marine, he shags
women like their going out of fashion and is about as 'Alpha' as a male can get. Would a gay
parent have been tempted there and then to say "its ok to love another boy"??.... Dont get
me wrong, if my lad had grown up to be Gay, straight, a binman or a bloody rat impressionist
with a glued on tail I'd still love the bugger to bits. But what kind of messages does a 'daddy and
daddy' relationship send out to young impressionable kids?

   he's 22 Claire. Perfectly normal lad, loves his mam and his sister to bits, is great
with kids, life and soul of the party and everyone thinks the world of him.

Alas, he cannot pass people with long beards and sandals without putting a couple of bullets into them

He threw a grenade at Rolf Harris the other day.

Its starting to worry me

I was being pedantic Sludge no offence intended.

The only reason I mention it is often the charge will be made that those voice displeasure at the conducts of Gays are really gays themselves. Whilst the saying "he who shouts loudest often has the most to hide" is a truism, I really feel that the assumption that anyone who voices a dislike for Gays is one himself, is totally wide of the mark.

Don't see the problem myself, but object to it being shoved down peoples throats. (I'll get my coat).

If 2 people want to make a commitment to each other I don't have a problem with it.

I have several friends that are gay, the only time I would have an issue with someone being gay is if they tried to come on me ;)

The Gay blokes I know are far more choosy than most of the old boilers I have had the pleasure of over the years.

I was approached by a rather good looking chap a few years ago who was most disapointed I was with my GF. Serves my right for having bleached blond hair and being in club X on a Friday night I guess.

I agree same sex relationships are fine in todays world. Each to their own. Perhaps if we all had a bit more tolerance then there would be fewer problems in the world. Ban religion that would be a great start.
