Little fact on Clive Sullivan. Which was sent to me.
As Clive Sullivan loved the City so much, back in the day he placed a 160,000 deposit, which he was entitled to back on the deal falling through, to call it back at the time ( 400k ) in today's money would have bust the club. Sullivan never asked for it back for those reasons, although the sum was returned only recently out of respect where Sullivan refused any interest.

Surely tan will sell if these rumours are true? Basically if doesn't sell by end of this season he will have less parachute payments next season, as doubt we get promoted now! Once the payments run out we are not going to be worth what he paid into us, so what does he do then? Can't sell stadium players worth peanuts so be left with championship club with no money (maybe)?? That's all :old:

Well he did say he would sell if the deal was right and clearly he's had enough of you ! Not that I can say I blame him !

You're fans leaders conned and lied to him that rebrand was acceptable.

Question for you Nukes ?

Do you expect this all to be denied or to come out in the open ? Are you're contacts linked to this deal and if so is this part of their plan to have in the open ?

I have to admit I dont know about the 2 Consortiums,I have heard nothing about the Sullivan's being involved, but that does not mean its not true.

I only know of one Consortium being put together with very Wealthy people involved, but once again that does not mean Nukes is wrong.

Just how much are the parachute payments?

I think it is ,the stadium is worth most of that

In any deal The stadium is only worth the money in revenue from ticket sales not bricks and mortar . Which at the moment are dropping by the week !

The stadium is as I understand not allowed to be sold, and is intrusted to Cardiff city holdings ltd . Tan can't sell the stadium and nobody can buy it .

The stadium is worth a lot even if it can't be sold ,Fulham were sold for 200 million last year do you think we are only worth half of them ?

with that as a yardstick i'd say we're worth less than half of fulham.

fulham are located in a prime area of london, with some of the highest property prices in the world. they were, at the time, an established premier league club.

we, on the other hand, lie in mid table in the championship. the true market value of our club is probably £80-100m. we'd be bought based upon our potential. though with the parachute payments factored in, maybe the true figure would be closer to the £100m mark than £80m.

if they own Craven Cottage, that would be some of the highest £££ 1 m2 in the country West London on the bank of the Themes
but if they built a new stadium what woyldthat cost ?

Firstly Nukes has been bang on the money quite often.

What's confusing me though Annis is you and nukes say there is a consortium and Sam says there's not and they don't work in football?

Who's saying there are two consortiums ?

Are you're names different then ? I see Nukes has a list

What's yours ?

Re: ' Consortium update 03/01/2015 '

IMO, for any sale to occur, tan has to put the club up for sale.

unless he is open to realistic offers, a sale is not feasible as he will expect offers in relation to what he's put into the club, not offers in relation to what the club is actually worth.

these consortia remind me of the "red knights" who were supposedly buying man u. lots of hot air and publicity, but when push comes to shove, they proved to be all fart and no poo. i've got more chance of winning the lottery than this so called consortium buying CCFC any time soon.

David Sullivan has recently stated he is selling some of his West Ham shares and that the money will go to reducing west hams debt. If his shareholding dips below a certain level (9.9% I think) he is able to join the board of another team.

Gareth, he's not selling his shares. He's willing to take investment for up to 20 percent ownership.

With the funds raised paying down the debt.

He's going nowhere mate neither is Goldie.

It's a non starter. More chance of Tan turning u back to blue !

Rumours gathering pace of a new consortium or two interested in buying the club, then former owner States big things happening in 2015 and thus, positive news suddenly lands, as supporters in their droves are considering not renewing season tickets. This could be the news that changes a few supporters minds into renewing Hmmmm as they say  It would be nice to know exactly where these rumours are being started and who is to gain from them?

If so many wealthy men are involved why is the bid made in instalments and have to cough up the interest?

Is this just a flip job? Buy us turn us blue, get the fans back onside, fans back in the stadium, make us more appealing and sell us on for a profit, knowing what infrastructure we have in the training complex, stadium and potential stadium capacity?

No major deals are done on up front cash payments - very rare.

You are totally correct, cash is king as they say and it is far better in your bank. Most player purchases are brokered the same way not cos they don't have funds but makes sense.

Harold Rolfe Owen (a Yorkshireman and WWI Flying Hero) opened the dealership in 1899 ;)

Now owned by the infamous Gerald Ronson (Heron International) so can't see where you are coming from :?
