Well glad someone was there to stand up to there anti British views. Just because the British contingent and i say that because those Islamic demonstrators are NOT. They were there to stand up to these people that clearly don't belong in our land doesn't make them Nazis or racist, Those anti British demonstrators clearly stated it was our soldiers not there's, there hearts still belong else where so why don't they go instead of abusing our brave and fantastic soldiers. They don't need that after there tour of duty.

I agree, but if it wasn't for the Muslims attending the marches to protest at our government's stance in Afghanistan, then you wouldn't have the idiotic white Brits attending and making things worse!

I'm also ex-military, having served nearly 13 years in the Army and if the Muslims protested like they did in the video back in Afghanistan, they wouldn't be around for very long!

I'm all for freedom of speech etc., but I don't think they should be allowed to demonstrate at our soldier's homecomings, especially after we've lost so many good men in Afghanistan!

because to be against war is ok , and to have banners saying so is ok ..but to turn up on the day the troops are marching is clearly totally out of order and I would have thought the police would know it would kick off at some point

seems far easier to just say sorry boys you can put those banners away and you can stay away , come within 500 yards of the troops and you will be arrested for inciting trouble

What surprised is why the march wasnt banned in the first place, the regiment lost 5 soldiers on tour I think and it was obviously going to cause issues
