back when it first kicked off in afghanistan and iraq 2003 i think. there was a demo in cardiff where they chanted anti british and christian slogans part of the march was through queen street on a busy saturday afternoon. i know coz i was there i and a few others did shout a few thing back but coppers pushed us away. couldn't do a lot as i had hand full of shopping bags and a frightened misses with me at time. so they have shown their faces in our capital

there was a stop the war demo in cardiff at around that time but I didnt hear any anti british stuff whatsoever and certainly no anti christain stuff ..that was just before we went to war


two years ago there was a parade by the welsh troops outside the castle , there were lots of rumours that the " lefties " would be protesting against our troops ..but this was just shit stirring to whip up trouble

in the end about 50 people who were against the war ( but not against british troops ) were in queen street kept well away from the troops at the castle ..as they should be

I dont agree with the war but fully support british troops ..sadly as per usual you get people thinking that because you think like this you must be a supporter of these bombers

ANTI BRITISH SLOGAN WERE CHANTED MATE I WAS THERE. i have to say there were people of all ages on this march and the older ones at the front were not part of the chanting it was men and women towards the back were the aggressors.

1) the WDL/Casuals United, were formed by a cardiff city 'fan' - so thats shot that down in flames. I will agree with you, there is very little history of it, thankfully.

2) I think you will find that that the EDL/WDL are genrally considered to be the most right wing organisation to take to the streets in decades. of course they attract the odd nazi - the whole thing is run by nazis!
