One of my relatives knows him very well and says he's a good lad, very grounded and I agree he deserves a break, he'll be a like a new signing used properly as a wing back.

Yay pleased to see Theo Wharton getting some game time was wondering why he wasn't with the squad at FGR but hopefully he might get a first team chance this year.

4-0 great start !
really happy to see us playing 3-5-2, 5-3-2 however u want to look at it.
what was good to see was we adapted well when changing to 4-2-3-1 aswell.
so many positives today. freddie scoring on his debut and also zohore scoring on his official debut.
interesting to see Semi Ajayi start. looked good for the dev team last season.

few questions being where was Peltier and Morrison ? possible sales ? or injurys ?

well done Paul (mourinho) Trollope

How did we lose to them at Home in the FA cup under Slade last season?

Re: TEAMS ' SHREWSBURY V CARDIFF CITY ' MATCH THREAD

Full Time: Shrewsbury 0-4 Cardiff City

Paul Trollope will be thrilled with that performance.

The Bluebirds dominated the opening 45, when they adopted the same three at the back and two wing-backs formation employed by Wales at the Euros.

New man Frederic Gounongbe will also be pleased to open his Cardiff City account on his debut.

All in all, that’s a solid afternoon’s work.

Isn't Morrison injured from last season. Not sure about Pelts though. Nice win and as said above nice to see Zohore and Fred getting on score sheet :ayatollah:

Morrison has only just got back on the grass and started using the ball again according to the City's YouTube Channel.

I'm sure we'll see him before the start of the season.

Pelts must be carrying a knock also, seems like we had pretty much the whole squad there today.

Kennedy was not the number 23 surely anyone else believe this
The number 14 looked sharp and speedy but I don't know who it was
Not sure if it's just me but the second 11 looked pacier than the starting 11
Ajayi looked good
Don't think whitts is suited to the new formation played way too deep
IMO 3 4 1 2 which is what I thought I saw us playing today needs 2 dogs in the middle not one
But I was very encouraged with what I saw
Frederic and zohore surely won't play together though
